  2. Hamilton apparently were poor yesterday and deservedly beat, we put in a great, fighting performance against the top team in the division above us and won, there's only one logical outcome from a Queens fans point of view, home win. Seriously we need to match yesterday's performance, and the one V Hamilton and Falkirk our place, only hard work will get us up out of this mess.

  3. On the"handball" goal, unlike the main stand lino I wasn't in a good position to see, from Oakbank Terrace, but the angle, speed and height the ball was travelling to the player and the speed the player was running onto it, it would have been virtually impossible to control it without it touching his hand. It seems that those spectators with a better view confirms this. Didn't matter in the end though but it could have been decisive. Also anyone throwing smoke bombs onto an artificial surface, or having smoke bombs at all, are brainless areseholes. Poor Stewarding as well if they didn't keep a better watch after the 1st incident. Hope the cost of any repair required to the pitch is sent to Dundee Utd. (We're a wee poor club)

My sources tell me you’re the most negative on here. Everyone’s sick of hearing it. Every time I’m at the games your names always top of the list on the negative comment chart. Don’t feel as though you’re the only one though as there’s plenty of moaning negative members. Your the worst at the current time going by the adjudicator

Don't know about Rocket Man, I think A Rocket is more apt Username.

  5. I'm not saying I'm for Scott Brown being considered as Manager or Player/Manager, but he's hardly a rookie as some are saying, he's had a wee bit of experience at a level a good bit higher than we're at. Even if we were to get a season out of him playing it would surely be a benefit. I would say the man lacked a bit of class as captain of Celtic with some of his antics but he's probably matured a bit with more experience and responsibility.(you'd hope). I wouldn't exactly be over the moon if he was seriously being considered, but it's a no brainier if the alternative is Neil Warnock.

I don’t understand why we would want to contemplate retaining MB as Head Coach when his mis-management of the playing side has put us in such a dire position. Unless I am missing something there are literally no positives!!

I think many supporters thought he was the “real deal” when he arrived (I wasn’t one of them because I don’t set much store on excessive rhetoric from a novice Manager who has no track record) but the penny has well and truly dropped now. You only need to listen to the true diehards in the Travel Club to get a feel for supporters’ sentiment and these guys “live and breathe QOS”.

I wish the guy well but the future can’t be with us ………….can it????

I've followed Queens long before there was a Travel Club,  and have travelled with them, but no need to be a member of that to have strong feelings for the club.

  7. Harking back to earlier posts about Marvin staying but bringing in an old head as Assistant, that is perhaps something that should have been considered when he was first appointed but he was stuck with Grant Murray. I would think Marvin would have to have a say on who the "old head" was, he needs someone who he respects and can work with. He must have contacts in the game to find someone to fit the bill. We could even head down the experienced DoF route leaving Marvin as Head Coach, maybe a bit OTT considering the situation we're in and level were playing at, it would probably also incur more cost. It's maybe too far down the line now to save Marvin's job anyway given what he's said about some players' attitude, even though a few could do with buckling down and accepting some home truths.  A shame if it ends in acrymony, he was an exciting and popular appointment at the time.

Employment law and contracts will determine any plan of action and subsequent announcement. That takes time, just need to be patient.

Club's anouncing Managers had been sacked/relieved of duty: Ross County didn't give McKay much notice, St. Johnstone didn't give McLean much notice, Ian McCall was dumped by Partick Thistle just a couple of hours after a game, even Gary Naysmith was relieved of duty a few hours after a  game, and that's just a few examples. Football doesn't seem to run to the same timescale as other professions in Employment Law.

I can’t believe it’s taken some of the Queen’s fans this long to realise he’s a helmet.

I don't think we need to be told he's a helmet tbf, we've seen plenty of him over the years to know that, but fans of any club generally don't look on their own players in the same way as outsiders do whilst they're playing for your Club. Kind of, he's a twat but he's our twat.

Personally, I welcome the lengthy interview because it's interesting and sheds some light on where we're at.

However, from a club perspective, it really is nuts to let that go out in full.  He's struggling in it and he just keeps digging, while his interviewer ably assists him.

Did he say he was getting the players in for training today?  If they've interrupted the gaming long enough to watch the interview, I can't imagine the atmosphere being great.

If they're coming in to training today maybe it's a "goodbye from me" meeting.

I don't think we'd be sitting 3rd comfortably if Mimnaugh was fit but based on what we saw I'd imagine if him and Brydon (our best CB who's also crocked) had been regular starters for us then we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.

Aye, Brydon and Mimnaugh have been 2 big misses but we'd probably still have been struggling 'cos there's just not the quality, or even many semi-capable players, around them.

On the matter of Lewis Gibson's stair related injury, it shows some dedication that he couldn't even wait to get to training to get injured.

Can't believe he thinks he's being smart by having a public pop at a man of different ethnicity to himself a mere two days after having appeared in court on a racism charge.

He may not mean it that way, but it doesn't paint a good picture.

That's some leap reading anything racist into Gibson's tweet. Gibson shouldn't have put that statement out there, very naive from a fellow professional and lacking class but to infer it's racially motivated is plain daft imo.
