Some twitter rumours doing the rounds.
Owner of Brentford looking to buy United.
Bit more firm this one but Sibbald going to be signing an extension.
Obviously unlikely but that would be superb.
Matthew Benham has built up Brentford from very little to be one of the best run teams in England. Probably second only to Brighton.

Agree with most of this but Doc keeps it ticking forwards too.
Tillson, I'm starting to seriously dislike
He pings a ball back to the defenders then does this stupid sprint into the final third so if the defender loses the ball he's got an extra 20yds to cover for a defensive midfielder.
Not the worst player but there's things about him that irritate me.
Doesnt irritate me but just dont think we should be giving him minutes ahead of Glass/Mochrie/Meekison. Need to keep developing these boys and playing a boy on loan ahead of them from Ross doesnt help at all.

Excellent win that. Thought it was a really decent game. Fully expect Dunfermline to make the playoffs. Move the ball well and play some decent stuff, and will be a better side with Todd back in it.

I've been trying to work this out all week...I think our Cup Winners go into the Play-off round of the Europa...then drop into the Conference groups if beaten. If it's one of the cheeks and they are already in CL qualifying then f**k knows.
It's all changing next year with that league system for the CL...
Yeh correct, cup winners go into Europa and guaranteed group football. If a cheek wins it then 3rd gets it. Likely to still hold on and get it next year.
UEFA Country Ranking 2023/24 | *LIVE* | UEFA Coefficient (footballseeding.com)
Top 10 get guaranteed 3 teams group football. After our 19/20 season drops off we will drop down to 16th at best. The club tab is very depressing for Scottish teams. Aberdeen and Hearts level on coefficient with a team from Gibralter and behind some Irish teams.

Good to see another point for the co efficient but its not gonna make much difference really. Another really poor total this year and although we will likely get group stage football for 3 teams again next year we fall off a cliff points wise after that and it will be back to 4 and all teams qualifying again for a good few years as the last 2 years points totals will be around 20th in Europe.

Does it not up the proceeds though?
Yeh, will get about 150k for that.

An excellent result for Aberdeen. Not quite priceless though as Rob kept saying.

Loved big Dunc. Mind going to U18 games around then when we had some fantastic young players coming through. Cleland/Badger/Mckinnon/Bollan/Mclaren/Connolly/Dailly and no doubt quite a few others. Good times.

Yes I subscribe, if I was getting a free stream I’d have no cause to complain. My main beef is the fact that this season is definitely poorer than the previous two.
Ah didnt realise you could still watch live games through DUTV in Scotland. For some reason thought that stopped after Covid.

Pity the picture quality during live transmission on DUTV is not the same as the highlights.
Yer getting a bit obsessed about the stream. Do you pay for it out of interest?

For a boy thats hardly played in 2 years Goodwin should be protecting him. Not playing him in the Challange cup when theres no need and should be taking him off early if we are a couple of goals up. Hes our only recognised no9 and needs looked after and eased back into regular football.

The coefficient is going to have a sore arse in the morning.
Probably better for the coefficient if aberdeen go into the conference league. Winning would get one point, and most likely that would be aberdeens lot against good opposition in the Europa. Got a chance of picking up a win or two in the conference.

Good result, very one sided game. We’ve only conceded one goal in three games which is encouraging.
DUTV was a disaster today, I think we might have been getting the Ayr feed, the camera person must have been a trainee.
Yeh watched an SPFL feed but must have been same one, was awful.
On the basis of that Ayr will struggle this year, Arbroath were at least showing fight when goals down, Ayr just offered nothing.

There's a guy below the camera who sounds like he's about to have an aneurysm.
Assuming the ball was well over the line for the second? Hard to tell from the stream.
Watching with no sound and no replays so not sure but did look over I thought.
Very comfortable second half, 3rd goal was brutal defending as well.

Does the Ayr keeper wear a giant fake nose, moustache, glasses and eyebrows and speak in an Australian accent?
Nah, he caught it first, would have went straight through his hands.

2nd goal was bizzare, Keeper seemed to have a lob under control but walked it into his own net.

We really really need a fairly mobile target man as a foil to Watt and Moult.
Another RB is needed, I love Sheep to bits but he needs some time out the firing line he looks absolutely shot.
Wonder of Stephen O'Donnell is available?
O donnell is getting a game for Motherwell
Thought we were pretty good for 25 minutes and dominated till Freeman went off. Was happy when he went off as thought Meekison & Grimshaw would be stronger but from that point on we pretty much lost the midfield.
I like the back 5 we have when Grimshaw is in but for that we really need Docherty in Midfield.
Watt worked away well but was shot by 60 mins. Glass and Fotheringham gave us a much needed boost and both offered a lot more although probably came on 10 mins too late.We were definitely much better from that point. Fotheringham's ability to cut inside and link up opens up a lot of space for Mcmann who I thought was putting the ball in far too early. Would like to have seen him really drive to the byline more and drill it in. There was a lot of nothing balls floated into Moult and Cudjoe who had no chance of doing anything the pace they were coming in at.
Grimshaw can easily cover right back but with him there we are short in Midfield if one of Sibbald or Docherty is out playing a 4231 . I like Meekison/Glass/Mochrie but they are all pretty much the same player and would fit much better into a 4141 but Watt doesnt really have the legs to fit into that as one of the middle 2.
I want to see the young guys play in this league so not desperate to bring guys in bar cover for Moult possibly.
