  1. Why are you trying to be a smartarse, do you get off on it? I asked a civil question already, you already made a statement that I was involved with Health and safety which is a lie All I asked was: Regarding the Increase, had there been any substantial work been done to Newlandsfield in-between for the capacity of 900 to increase quite significantly to 2088 or did Glasgow City Council apologies knowing they were wrong originally to give Pollok FC a limit of 900. and if you work out the paragraph, your dumb shit reply is already covered with the council part If you don't know the answer, then don't reply
  2. Superb Glens How long do clubs need to wait to receive the exit money and travelling money from the SFA? Any team had problems with this
  3. Could you clarify Glens, I've got £8500 for round 2 on official documentation, although its been photographed and is a tiny bit blurry
  4. With Bankies winning against Dalkeith Thistle in the first round, last years exit round prices is that Bankies know if eliminated in Round 2 they will receive at least £6500, (this was 2022/23 season prices so don't know this years prices). Dalkeith received at least £5000 for round one exit. If Bankies reach round 3, the money they would receive if they lose will be at least £9500 But if they win then they are garenteed for round 4 £19,500 at the very least. Amended thanks to Glensmad
  5. Regarding the Increase, had there been any substantial work been done to Newlandsfield in-between for the capacity of 900 to increase quite significantly to 2088 or did Glasgow City Council apologies knowing they were wrong originally to give Pollok FC a limit of 900
  6. Ohhh that was real bitchy pmslllllllllllllllllllll How am i a safety expect, I never said I am and I haven't made one FACTUAL comment about a inplace rule regarding health and safety factual announcement loll I asked if the exit doors are locked from the inside, is this legal or not, that's all i asked, a question and then some joker or a fan comes on and twists. i dare to think what people think of you after that comment Is that where Pollok train by the way at Newlandsfield? lolollol
  7. Nope didn't miss them, i usually don't miss much, I'm very good with details as I'm sure you know now Think it was a couple of years ago I was told the brought in company did not benefit Pollok Fc, if it was either for money or to implement toilets, i don't know
  8. Totally agreement, the only issue is that are exit doors that are locked from the inside, is it legal? I'm sure someone could find out as I do not know. Its not a big deal . its only escalated when people replying while are not understanding the post or not reading it the way it was hoped to be conveyed, or saying thing to my post that I never said
  9. Pollok used to have two food snacks, one which still continues and one which was brought in self employed and think Pollok decided to move them out due to none benefit to Pollok FC as far as I'm lead to believe. Part in bold, the only issue regarding all of this is that exit doors locked on the inside, is it legal or not. Think businesses and big clubs have doors that when you press the bar you can easily get the door open and exit, at the Pollok game you could not, that's all
  10. Its not a rant I have stated what I was told by committee members at the time of the incident. The club voted to lock the gates and anyone going out wouldn't be allowed back in Whatever reasoning of occurrences regarding health and safety read the post, the only question i have is that fire exits should not be locked from the inside, if this is true or not as your on the committee I'm sure you can find out from the council. teh reason why i said you were tlalking shite was that I said Paul to you How can the initial post that i put up that states "said they committee decided to arrange this but i don't think you can legally lock a fire exit door from the inside incase something happens?, I could be wrong though but doubt it" That isn't classed as fact from me from your post, (see people who change shit or twist it, i don't get why they do it) Paul you said i was wrong and that it was not fact but i never said it was fact, just asked for clarity
  11. No attempt to create something out of nothing Your the one making stuff up, where have i ever questioned how many could be allowed in, I know what the restriction were before todays announcement and I like most were shocked and a bit peeved that the council would shaft Pollok like that. Think I know what Pollok can hold when I played against them and watched many times
  12. No the officials said it was voted on by the committee for the Benburb Scottish cup game, other games I haven't a clue about. The only issue I believe out of all of this is that the fire exits are locked from the inside
  13. Pars, please read my post I never said it could cause a riot, I just said fans who wanted out, and the fan was with 3 other lads went mental at not getting back in. Health and Safety rules are in place incase of the unexpected happens. In fact before the incident, there was a elderly man walked up to the official and said he didn't feel well and could he be let out and he was told you cannot return and he said that was fine, ffs I asked him if he was Ok and he said he would be fine and someone was picking him up. If that's was the rules of no re entry then that is fine but it should be in the interest of Pollok to inform fans of such they should inform everyone, nothing wrong with their choice but i think if the gates are locked from the inside I'm sure this is wrong, sure someone might know factually to clarity this! The main reason why quite a few wanted out at half time was that Pollok only have one snack bar and the queues were huge so quite a few wanted out, to get to the locals shops, (its a built up area) and get drinks and food and come back in which would have been a lot quicker. It was very hot and it went to extra time and penalties so it was a very long day. As i said, I was told by one of the top officials that it was 867 crowd.
  14. I knew there was someone gonna comment back and talk shit about something they haven't a clue as they were not there during the incident. Yes it was, he told me he had to lock the gate and stand by it and unlock it when someone wanted out and I told him and the other committee member they better check the rules as you cannot lock a fire exit from the inside, (i believe I'm right as i told the 3 members but asked them to check) so don't say stuff you don't not know about it. The stramash happened when the official unlocked the gate and then said once you leave you cannot get back in, that's when the fan went mental and for once instance the reply from the official was wrong an this made it wore, that when i stepped in. FACT I was there, I was beside the other guys when he said it, the other committee member said that's was the rules for this match, so don't open your mouth about something that you do not know anything about. The gate was locked and had to be unlocked and unhappy fan said he wans putting a letter in to complain and the official said he was putting a letter in to the committee to cover his ass. P.s folks, for clarity, the official was always standing near the gate to unlock. Heaven forbids but what happens if the committee member has a stroke as he's going to unlock gate with a crowd and then you cannot move him due to any incident. Paul to you How can the initial post that i put up that states "said they committee decided to arrange this but i don't think you can legally lock a fire exit door from the inside incase something happens?, I could be wrong though but doubt it" That isn't classed as fact from me from your post, (see people who change shit or twist it, i don't get why they do it) I asked the committee members to check the rules regarding health and safety to what they were doing and asking if it was legal or not, whether they put out a statement or just let it go unnoticed and change the way they work then fine.
  15. As I'm not a regular but i go when i can, and I'm not going to call you a lair as you my not know what was arranged, as at the time I'm the big f#+king guy who stopped the fight at the gate. The official at the gate then joined by another committee member after and he also said they voted to lock the gate and anyone needing out would not be allowed back in. FACT. Yeah I agree I think Pollok can hold 2000 but with the regulations so tight, I think I'm genuinely surprised that they were allowed the capacity to rise to such, which is brilliant. While we are at it, another deflating one, think I remember there used to be about 5 to 10 teams from the academy going to the Pollok matches and with the Scottish tie against Benburb, a local derby, there was only one group of boys in Pollok tracksuits as if there was from the academy, but defiantly no groups there and that, Pollok are missing a big trick and its so disappointing for the chance of more youth coming through the ranks of players and or supporters, such a shame. (Just thinking there, shocker, only reason I can think of is that the crowd restrictions would have halted their entry). P.S. the committee member said the official crowd was 867 for the Scottish tie against Benburb and that was at half time he told me after the stramash.
  16. This is brill but shocked at how much, I was maybe thinking 1300 although the part Consequently, the Club is able to re-introduce exit and re-entry at half-time with immediate effect They locked the gates at the Benburb game at half time and there was a bit of a stramash. Pollok said they committee decided to arrange this but i don't think you can legally lock a fire exit door from the inside incase something happens?, I could be wrong though but doubt it Now that Pollok will allow the gates to be open at half time is superb, even if some youngsters are passing hearing the crowd, seeing the gate open they can pop into watch as there's plenty of passing public and they might become supporter or want to play for Pollok so more potential in my eyes
  17. I don't believe the SFA licensing has any effect on team performance, strain on manager or the budget. The budget for everything is set by the committee, you work out how much you have in total and put money into each section. Money for the licensing, for the playing staff for the coaching staff for travelling etc... if there's a problem then its really because its badly run i.e. making decisions that are not good that will have an affect on the whole Football club. Suppose the proof is in the pudding and that's why Kilwinning FC were relegated but to be honest, they are a team that I do expect to get back up there sooner rather than later. I do know that this is Kilwinning's second year in the Scottish cup, which they made money from last year's adventure and Kilwinning are doing so again with their second round tie against Cowdenbeath, so last years exit to Forfar, gave the club £6500 participation money reaching the second round and that's without adding money from the gates home and away and they are going to earn another £6500 or more this years turn in the Scottish Cup, so achieving your SFA licensing was defiantly worth it. I don't get what the problem is, Kilwinning put their head above the parapet and gained their license, if this means that a particular season they are average or lower standard as not much money can be spent on budget then so be it, not to worry as Kilwinning will be going for a long time to come and will have fantastic seasons I'm sure of that
  18. Yeah the Junior FA pass travelling expense to away clubs playing in the junior cup The same as the SFA for teams playing in the Scottish Cup. Normally a coach from Glasgow to Aberdeen normally costs about £900 to £1100 and in the junior FA, they supply money towards the costs of expenses about £220 and the SFA, think its £600. Fees are worked out by distances. It helps clubs but with juniors being all in the first couple of rounds a smaller club can get two away ties straight away and could cost them a couple of grand and only get £400 odd but for clubs like Talbot, Pollok, Beith Clydebank etc.., some big and some good fan bases then they are well organized and can deal with it. I'm sure Talbot can get brilliant deals from a coach company due to the size of their fan base, personally at this level, I cant think of a fan base with a bigger away support?. Obviously here might be a charge for fans on the coaches but that's norm
  19. They supply monies to teams who are travelling far. its the same as the SFA, for the same distance they will pay £500 to £600 costs, again someone can confirm exactly price per distance. Teams could go bust having to pay out £900/£1000 or more for coaches just for the team bus and even £200/£260 for the junior FA doesn't put a dent in it and if your drawn away again. Organized, well run clubs like Talbot with big fan bases wont really feel it but smaller clubs do
  20. To be fair, think that's a given that Talbot will have a better away support than most. The price of buses now are huge and effects every team at this level, so it goes to stand, still expect Talbot support to be way bigger than most. I think the junior Fa will supply £190 /£200 towards the travelling costs of the club, someone can correct me on this, so hopefully Talbot can arrange a good deal with their local coaches that they have used in the past. Actually hopefully the teams travelling far, can arrange good deals.
  21. Found this very enjoyable. Is there any chance or anything in the pipeline for East Stirlingshire finding their own ground or is that been put on the back burner?
  22. Pollok v Camelon for me is a cracker, I think Pollok will win due to home advantage, definitely if away it would have been a lot harder. Lot of Lok fans happy being at home but they would have enjoyed playing away at Camelon's ground, real vide at that park similar to Newlandsfield
  23. Thanks for this Fantastic highlight as per usual at the games you pick. The winner for Carluke is comical
  24. the result for me of the day are Bo'ness United 2 Cumbernauld United 4, which is a shocker and a mention for Broomhill 0 Irvine Meadow 1
  25. Agreed superpollok I'm sure the ruling is that a player is allowed to speak to any team or a team can contact a player once his contract has 6 months or less to run going by the SFA rules, someone can correct me if I'm wrong
