  1. What is, the junior cup?. That's why only 110 teams compete in it an many teams don't wanna play in it and other cups have about 50 more teams competing and stronger teams. I'm not knocking the Junior cup but when people come out with utter shit when factually the junior cup is weaker than other cups to win. This isn't me talking, it's just the facts. Above are actual FACTS folks, go and see who red dotted it - this actually means they are delusional lololol
  2. You cannot forget that scum Thomas Brown, the Lowland league chairman who said the conference was a done deal and nothing the Lowland or Highland leagues or below could do anything about it. Talk about someone who has been gotten at We are in a situation where teams do look after themselves but you would hope if East and West teams continue to be promoted and grow stronger that they will vote the right way. The pyramid landscape is changing, however slowly and not helping that at a lowland league meeting, someone stood up and proposed that relegation form the Lowland should not be talked about until after the SPFL2 open their relegation up which was then seconded by another team. This still hasn't been made public, which persons and which teams they represented. One of the things that i still cant shake that the daft tams cant work out. If relegation from the SPFL 2 was opened up then teams being relegated from the SPFL 2 would have a greater chance of getting back after being relegated but teams like East Stirlingshire, Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers, Albion Rovers and Brechin City who all voted against relegation from the SPFL2 now realsie its hard to get back with only one play off place available after, first winning the lowland and its not even direct. If you asked all these teams now would they vote to open up relegation from the SPFL2 then yer dammed tooting they would. If the teams below the lowland are getting stronger and bigger then the teams like East Stirlingshire, Cowdenbeath, Berwick Rangers, Albion Rovers, and others coming down are going to find it even harder to get back up due to the east and West teams being superior with more money and or bigger fan bases.
  3. Its all viewpoints and subjective unless your in the know but Yeah it can be pinned on Rangers but I'm sure without doubt Celtic and possibly Hearts did know something of what was in the pipeline. From what we all read, hear about, Rangers are the instigators, Why do you think Rangers pulled their team out of the Lowland league this year. What did the 3 teams all sit round the table and say, "right, we've been sussed out so lets just leave the league and Celtic and Hearts said, no we are staying" or did Rangers just pull the plug without consulting Celtic and Hearts, aye right, i think they went in a huff and pulled the pug immediately. Hearts have had the youngest time last year out of the 3 last season, not sure about this season though and they have found it extremely beneficial for the progression and development of their youth players, I watched the Broomhill Hearts game at the end of last season and a quite a few of their players were 17 and sure a couple of 16 year old's. I genuinely believe from what I've seen and what I've heard from certain quarters and people that hearts see a true benefit of the development of their players being in the Lowland League.
  4. From what I've heard is that hearts will be applying gain next year, Celtic I'm unsure. But we are going to get this type of gossip constantly but is there any truth in it?. The coaching staff I do know are in favor of it as there were last year as their Hearts team was, I'm sure the youngest out of the 3 B teams but are seeing quicker progression and development of their players. The big question is, will the lowland league vote them in again, after realizing what Rangers were up to, nothing about youth but trying to get their B teams in the pyramid via the new conference?
  5. I like the honesty but most teams play on astro as in raining so they are all used to it
  6. Get that, I'm not too enamored with the cages either. Question, what happens if, say bellsdale was to change to an top grade artificial pitch, would you be for or against?
  7. Unfortunately it just shows you what a dumb shit is. Kilwinning having a riddy, that's the best yet lolol Clubs don't get riddys, they just deal with shit and bad seasons, why, because they have too, grow a set and get on and hopefully try to progress.
  8. Today, 02/10/23 That's us really at the 1/3rd of the league games played stage in the Lowland League. Is your team doing well, better than expected or worse than expected? What's your views folks !
  9. Honestly there are some really dumb shit people on pie and bovril, dont you think Jimba@tards? Please don't be simple, its definitely not a riddy, only in your small mind. Do you think Kilwinning or even the other teams who want up in the pyramid are thinking of the here and now, (that's obviously what we all take from your dumb post, especially when you stating what the clubs thinking, aye OK lolol), yeah that would be great but its about their clubs future and if some near future they get it right on the park with the right backing then some day they might actually win leagues and move up. Who knows if that will happen, soon, years away, 5, 10, 20 odd years etc... I don't think kilwinning or any other team would be laughing at the ones who are staying lower down, they just want to progress and wont give a toss about the other teams if they don't want to move up. The team are annoyed that they have no league game on Saturday especially when another cup to them seems to be taken importance and when the fixture lad is junior preference, they just aint happy. The league fixture lad has given a full explanation which seems fair to me but guess I don't blame the club for being happy.
  10. He's not be taken for a ride, he's doing this known very well what he's doing. I believe he's only doing this as he as some connection to Darvel previously, i.e., always been a supporter of Darvel. I think any guy who came into a big lump of money to not even worry about money anymore, lottery etc... would want to put some money into the club that they love.
  11. Cant argue with any of this. Unfortunately the park isn't built for KRR, unless they have put money in for a controlling part. The park is built for the community. The council just blocks out pitches for training and games for any teams, youth, amateur, semi pro. I'm sure Kirky will be able to play there but if it aint their park then nothing cant be done except just keep on at the council until you've got most of your stuff located there
  12. Any good business, when they arrange contracts, its expected that they have money in the bank to cover all wages of all staff, its only good business practice. Everyone can all have their views. I remember MK said he hasn't put any money into Darvel, so if that's true where did the money come, sponsorship from Gall's Pie company and as he knew what was happening, as in MK coming and a push, his pie company could have put a lot of money in to cover everything. There's no doubt in my mind, eventually the big money will run out and the club will reach their own level which will be a few years from now but another new backer could jump onboard, you never know. What I will say out of all of this, no matter, with the refurbishment, building of the existing ground Darvel have a good future and are in a great place. I cant see them going for the league anymore, especially with the manager they have but suppose you never know
  13. You've said it long, long ago and many others. It just shows you , your just another shit stirrer and with certain people, you don't give a shit trying to slag or be nasty even if it derails a post, which you have done many times. The part in bold lololol, that is what your like, you shit stir and then think your then playing it chilled and then hoping, thinking other will take the bait and back you up with a post backing you lolol Unfortunately I've just got the baws to reply and make you look like what you really are and you try and be diplomatic saying you wrong take this further. lolol I'm sure your not that type of keyboard warrior and I'm wrong and there will be no sarcastic, nasty comments to others posts, I wonder lololol
  14. 100% wholeheartedly agree but not with the egit Tony at the helm, He is one muppet
  15. Some results today Obviously Talbot win Troon drawing at Pollok 2.2 St Cadocs drawing at home to champions and high flying Beith 3.3 For me, Gartcrairn's 2.0 win Tops it off for me in the Premier. Will say Clydebank just purring along well quietly
  16. Cant see Medda coming back against Talbot from 2.0 down at Beechwood, even if Talbot isnt as strong as previous years
  17. If I was gonna report for the council they would easily be shorter that My P&B posts, I like clarity, it shows who the egits are
  18. Back in em days, i worked in the building section of GCC and it was one of the best but now when you look back, ffs it was horrendous so what where most of the building companies like. What dealings did Glasgow City Council have with junior clubs, was there much as i don't ever remember any junior team having a capacity to their ground, well in the 80s?
  19. Ffs he's at it again, his keyboard wizards skills lolol The post was finished but you just shit stirred again, usually to derail it sometimes as It no problem for me to reply to you, the reason, it brings it out in the open about how your a shit stirrer but your not too bright to realize that, you just think I'm biting Who the feck is this franco? Ffs you called me previously, and a few others that I was Mick Kennedy until he started his own profile lolol, two other people who I cant remember but one was a manager and one guy I haven't a clue of and I was told I'm Tony McInally and even in the Lowland forum a couple said i was Kyle Lafferty, ffs wish someone would pick a good looking guy. Things like this does proves that it bothers you when you make replies like that to me or about me but cant you wonder why i dont post shit to or about you, you aint on my mind, i just reply to you when you comment about me and then its finished. Some people and its on their mind and who the shit stirrers are, twisters and who part of the cliques but then some of you openly admit to like shit stirring. No wonder its usually regulars posts and others think they don't want the hassle. Your post above that your reply to me said, {All you needed to say, big fella?} that comment shows' either your not too bright or your just a shit stirrer no other reason for your post, as that that was not what the conversations are about. You and a few others must do both hands in their air and shout Yesssssssss when you think your getting one over people as its proven I'm not the only one you and others like to shit stir or nasty if they dont follow your narrative.
  20. Why you asking me? Quite clearly says I'm not a heath and safety expect. More chance of finding the info in the miscellaneous section of the forums
  21. Agree 100% with you there, I think when Pollok had the outsourced food van, Pollok fc did not have the licensed yet, is this correct? and if so, adding toilets and other facilities it gained them their license then this, without doubt, was a brill idea from the committee if i remember correctly the club snack hut served pie and the van served Burgers and going to a game and having a choice of pie, burger, hot dogs etc... is superb
  22. If I have something to say about a club or situation its usually because I was at a game, cant think of anything derogatory I've said about Pollok in a long time. I do not wind anyone up. I'm respectful but when you get someone trying to be an arse or misprinted what you said or even saying the opposite of what I said or just a keyboard warrior then yeah, Ill hold them to task. I don't hide from anyone, I was curious if there was changes made and obviously committee men are on here and could quite easily say yes or no and if its a NO then obviously Pollok have been screwed over which isnt right and should take it further if so inclined. Even yourself, you said to me previously "But don’t let me stray from your argument about re-entry during matches to pie huts and burger vans. " I thought to myself why is he saying that, (unless he never read the full thread) i never argued about that, only the exit locked from the inside and asked if it was legal or not! Its like everything, when we all type, we all hope the post is conveyed the way it is meant and we know it usually is not, especially from supporters of the club in question who just batter in straight away without pondering on the post and understanding what it is meant. All in all, its fantastic news for Pollok that the capacity has been increased, was at the Annan cup tie which was lie on Tv and that was a fantastic game and thought to myself, there definitely should and would be more Pollok fans and neutrals at this game if given a chance
  23. There's no argument about re-entry, there never has been, only by Pollok supporters who have taken offence to everything and misread posts or not understood the posts and its spilled everywhere. Once again, the only issue I could see if that the fire exits were locked from the inside by keys and in any business that I know of, this is not allowed unless there's some dispensation for football grounds at lower level. And yes the only argument regarding no re-entry, was the stramash with the official and 3 or 4 other fans which i butted in and stopped it. I have no interest in writing in, I aint a Pollok supporter so the only people who would be upset at the increase if there never had anything done to the ground would be the committee and the fans as both of them have suffered at the hands of Glasgow City Council due to original capacity size. I ain't a supporter but do like to see them do well but its not been so good under Murdie and McInally
  24. I don't deal in ground ffs So if i knew, guess what, I would not have asked, would I? i asked a question and you replied being a smartarse. if its nothing then just replay saying nothing has been done it was either, I'm sure the size could have been increased due to a number of factors which the council would have informed Pollok of. If Pollok have done nothing then they have been shafted by the City council capacity of 900
