  2. Ideally another EU referendum, with people voting to stay in. Can't see this happening, I think we will still get Brexit with the EU giving out concessions on a new deal. Edit to add: In the unlikely event of a General Election, the Tories would probably still win it.

  11. Can someone clarify the 'backstop'? Is the EU saying Northern Ireland can have no hard border with the ROI but has to stay in customs union etc with the EU? Northern Ireland can leave the customs union along with rest of the UK but there would then be a hard border with Ireland? Most people in Northern Ireland don't want a hard border and they don't want a border in the Irish Sea (e.g. Stranraer etc)?

  15. When you look at the Brexit result map, every area of Scotland voted remain. Although Northern Ireland also voted remain, some areas of NI voted to leave.

  18. This vote coming the day after the Brexit deal vote that was cancelled by Theresa May. I wonder if this will have any sway with the Tory MP's voting tonight?
