And if accies had a different manager! It would be so much closer! And if accies just trusted their young players like Joe McGlynn and Fergus Owen's! It would be so much closer! And if Accies had only went for it in the first game against us! It would've been so much closer! if only Scott Martin hadn't got injured, the best team in the league wouldn't have lost their best player and it would've been so much closer! Cant believe Falkirk only had 1400 fans there today either!

Looking back now I can remember how loud and shouty he was at the beginning of the season when we started quite well. Getting players pressing and keeping on their toes when we were winning. Then when all quiet when we were getting beat. What a laughing stock we were

Aye I meant the academy closure and Hartley as two separate things. I do agree, Holt probably did more damage, if we didn't get McGlynn in then we'd probably be part time right now. Not shocked to see Holt hasnt been touched by anyone else after his antics here. An arrogant arrogant man.

The whole academy closure then Hartley and whoever is agent/scout was that signed that amount of total dross was the biggest dunt to us imo. The amount of money it cost to get rid of and then revamp that squad again would've been frightening. Gary holt then done the exact same thing on a smaller scale (due to no money being left). Hartleys recruitment at his last 3 clubs haven't worked. Even at cove this year he's signed a dozen odd players who have either been let go or shipped out on loan. once he gets let go by Cove, I doubt he'll manage again.

Get what your saying, but i know for a fact a lot of the boys who organise it have been going to games for numerous seasons, a lot of them are on the supporters bus me and my mates go on. They've been there during the good times and the bad times. Just now under one banner.

Accies squad reminds me of the squad McKinnon assembled in our first season down here. A team of individuals who on paper could probably play at a higher level or who had came from the higher divisions. From day one you could tell there wasn't really a style to their play. We finished second (season cut short to covid) however the majority of the season we played absolutely boring, dross football, and were dragged into a title fight solely by Declan McManus who ended up with about 6 million goals.

I reckon yous will go up still, out of all the teams I've seen this year, Montrose have impressed me the most. Just need to find some form going into the last 5 games.

I can't stop smiling. Saturday from start to finish was just fantastic! Btw with the players after the game too was just the icing on the cake. Some set of boys! Roll on next season x
