  1. Yes indeed really wonder what happens next, will the AGM go ahead ? What happens to the votes already recorded ? Stand by for another exciting episode of Stirling Albion FC
  2. Good win for us today, felt we rode our luck at times, first half had a shot headed off our line and from a corner claims that the ball crossed the line, fortunately we do not have VAR to check. Second half Stranraer started the better team and we could have been a couple of goals down but we were lucky and then we got the break from a ball falling nicely for Aron Dunsmore to slam into the net. It’s a home win and 3 points that we will take, move on to Cowdenbeath next week in what will be a tough game, let’s hope we can get something. One disappointment was Jordan MCGregor going off injured, let’s hope it’s not serious can’t afford to lose any more players to injuries.
  3. Well its our 3rd home game in week on Saturday. Lets hope for better results than the previous 2 games both defeats. Question is do we have any strikers in the squad who can score GOALS. With the red card on Tuesday night to Dylan Mackin it will be interesting to see who starts up front for us Akeel Francis, hopefully with Dale Carrick if fit. Prediction haven`t a clue about the result, lets hope its not another defeat.
  4. Agree it just shows how desperate some people are to stay in power, re the 50 Coaches I don`t think the Junior Academy has 50 Coaches, could it be they are signing parents the kids themselves as Members. ? Regarding banging heads together, I think its gone beyond that now, its time for the Trust Board to show who owns this Club is it them or Stuart Brown. As a supporter for over 40 years this club is a joke just now. If this continues and Brown remains in control at Forthbank I will boycott Home games and only go to away games.
  5. The owners of the Club the Supporters Trust put forward their choices to Stuart Brown and others that`s who does it.
  6. Agree the sooner Stuart Brown and his cabal are removed the better, we the fans own this Club or so I`m led to believe. Not Stuart Brown.
  7. Yes Indeed how can running a diddy club end up this confusing you may well ask. This situation has been rumbling along in the background for a number of years now and it has allowed one man Stuart Brown the current Chairman to in effective ignore the wishes of the owners of the Club the Supporters Trust. How to fix it, its going to be bloody imo
  8. Well another disappointing and frustrating display tonight. First half felt we were the better team without creating much then disaster strikes Dylan Mackin gets send off for a terrible challenge and down to 10 men. Second half felt we played better with 10 men and we looked like we might get something but as usual we get hit with a sucker punch late on in the match after Rovers were also reduced to 10 men, such is our luck just now and we lose 1-0. Only consolation is were are still in 7th spot, not that it matters much. Onwards to the visit of Stranraer on Saturday. Can we get something from this game who knows. who gives a f**k.
  9. Are the Trust Board trying to get rid of Stuart Brown ? I don`t think so. it was Stuart Brown and John Daly that refused to attend a meeting unless Ian Doyle was not present. Say what you like about Ian Doyle he was elected to the Trust Board by the members of the Trust and both Stuart Brown and John Daly stuck in essence 2 fingers up at the Trust Board and its members by refusing to attend. The fact is that this Club under the Stewardmanship of Stuart Brown on the park is going NOWHERE. Like you say how many managers has he appointed and then fired because quite simply he has NO idea about getting it right on the park, lets hope DY IS THE MAN to take us out of this League next season. The point of my resolutions was to give members of the Trust the chance to decide whether they wanted to keep Brown on as Chairman or Not. I am quite sure the members of the Trust are aware of the risks involved and again I say its up to them the OWNERS of the Club to decide. Clearly the recent update by the Trust Board regarding a very high number of people joining all of a sudden is worrying and it certainly looks to them that their appears to be an attempt to try and rig this vote.
  10. Heard from a source that the Club got 200k for the Rangers game and 25 k for Tv rights, that would bring money in Bank to just over 500k.
  11. Next up at Forthbank this Tuesday night is Albion Rovers. After our poor performance against Annan on Saturday we need to start winning football games again. Lets hope the team can turn up on Tuesday night and get the win. It will not be easy against a Rovers side who will make it difficult for us. They are fighting to avoid being dragged down to 10th spot. Prediction Binos 1 Albion Rovers 0
  12. Yes got the email. as you say it just shows what levels some people will go to to remain in power. Lets hope the real Trust members vote to remove these people from the Club Board. Only then we can get back to making sure that this club goes forward. For far too long this club has been underachieving its time to take this club forward.
  13. Well from the joys of winning at Forfar, to despair at full time at Forthbank today in a week sums up our season so far. First half felt their was not much in it but Annan took their chance before half time to go in 1-0 up. Second half we did nothing, poor defending cost up another 2 goals. Annan wont get an easier 3 points away from home this season. Lets hope to recapture some sort of form in the remaining games and hope DY can rebuild this team into a side which is capable of getting us out of this League.
  14. Agree at the end of the day no matter how good you are at getting the club on a good financial footing, its the results on the park that matter the most and once again it seems that we have failed to achieve getting to the playoffs for another season. Another season wasted, Stuart Brown has had his chance to do something and come up short again. Time for him to go.
  15. Have to disagree with you at the end of the day its Stuart Brown who picks the manager and look how many managers he has appointed and got it wrong. This Club once again has FAILED so it seems to have reached the playoffs for another season. How many years has Stuart Brown been in charge ? The fact is that under Stuart Brown this Club is under performing on the park. Time for change.
  16. Big game for us on Saturday when we face 2nd place Annan at Forthbank. After winning our last 2 games the question is can we make it 3 wins on the trot against an Annan side going great guns and unless something drastic happens should be in the playoffs come the end of the season. Prediction Binos 1 Annan 0
  17. Dear Fellow Trust Members, At this AGM amongst other business being discussed are a number of resolutions of which 3 are from myself. They are 1. That the Trust Board remove Stuart Brown as Chairman and A Director of Stirling Albion FC Club Board at the end of the current football season. 2. That the Trust Board remove John Daly as a Director of Stirling Albion FC at the end of the current football season. 3. That steps are taken to amalgamate both the Club Board and Trust Board into one body. The Chair of this new Board shall be in control of both Club and Trust. My reasons for putting forward these resolutions are I am greatly concerned at the current form of the football team on the park which has by the looks of it looks likely to fail to get into the playoffs once again. Stuart Brown has been Chairman for a number of years the last 6 spent in League 2 and it seems to me that the time has come to replace Stuart Brown with someone else who is capable of getting this Club out of League 2. Also the recent disclosure of the Trust Board that both Stuart Brown and John Daly refused to attend a Trust Board meeting unless a Trust Board Director Mr Ian Doyle was not present. In the case of John Daly our Supporters Liaison Director his comments published on the Club Website calling some supporters Keyboard Warriors leaves a lot to be desired from a man who`s prime task is to ensure good relations between the Club and Supporters. It is for these reasons I have decided to put forward my resolutions at the AGM. If you are like me concerned at where this Club is going, can I ask you to back my resolutions at the AGM. Your voice counts, make sure your voice is heard. Thank You
  18. Well that`s a result that I did not expect, happy to be proven wrong, felt with a depleted squad we would struggle to get anything today but the team has proved me wrong. Good goal from Akeel Francis his first for the club since signing on and we could have added to that score before half time but we failed to capitalise. Second half Forfar had a go at us and probably felt they were unlucky not to get a goal, but we defended well and ran out winners. Onwards to Forthbank next Saturday when we face Annan another tough task and who knows we might just make it 3 wins in a row.
  19. We travel to Forfar on Saturday to face a Forfar side riding high in League 2 and expected to be in the playoffs. After our win on Tuesday night against Cowdenbeath, the question is will we get something from this game or will it be another case of leaving empty handed. Given our injury worries it looks like we could be struggling to get 11 men on the park, even Darren Young the manager could be on the bench for us such are our problems. Prediction Forfar 1 Binos 0 ( Hope to be proved wrong)
  20. Did the business last night, not the greatest of games but we did something that we haven`t done in a long while win a game at home. 2 good goals from Dale Carrick the second one in particular. Wont get carried away but its a step in the right direction. Needed the win to boost confidence in the squad and that was achieved. Onwards to Forfar on Saturday, lets hope to get something to build momentum.
  21. I just hope for the best on Tuesday night, can we surprise ourselves and get all 3 points. ? We really are in a mess just now,, unable to score, unable to stop the other team scoring, unless we start picking up points at home especially against the bottom club in this League then we might be fighting it out at the end of the season to survive in this League, that`s how bad things could become. Prediction Binos 1 Blue Brazil 0
  22. Well what can I say about the game, had hoped to get something from this game to give us a boost but once again we are found wanting. Lots of effort but no threat up front. Dale Carrick tried his best but left on his own up front with no help, what do you expect. The sending off of Mark Laird did not help and as an experienced player after being booked ne should have known better. Onwards to Tuesday night when we face Cowdenbeath anything less than 3 points is NOT ACCEPTABLE.
  23. To be perfectly honest don`t know what to expect on Saturday when we face Stenny. Will the team surprise the fans by turning in the sort of performance we know they are capable of or will it be another frustrating afternoon when once again we don`t turn up and lose. Lets hope that we can turn the corner and start picking up the points needed to start climbing up this League. Playoffs might be beyond us but if we can hit a bit of form it will at least provide some comfort for the rest of the season and hope DY can build a team during the summer to finally get us out of this League. Prediction Binos 1 Stenny 1
