Football management and employment law very rarely match. There will likely be a caveat in the contract which states employee can be terminated by the board at any time. This would of course mean we had to pay out what remains on his contract. Or we could “relieve him Of his duties” aka Gardening Leave, which I’m sure is what Partick did with McCall. Very unlikely that his contract will be as tightly worded to the point we can’t get rid.

Can only hope Charlie is maybe not 100% fit. Have seen enough of Robbie Mutch to see he’s not a championship level no.1.

I wasn’t suggesting he can fix the fullbacks in training. I meant fix the defence in general.

Seems like we have some defensive issues more than anything. Can’t keep conceding goals from set plays like that. with McGinty in there we should be clearing most crosses etc. obviously the deficiencies at FB aren’t helping but Bullen needs to be fixing this in training. we had plenty of chances to score, McGeady needs to do better, he could’ve had a couple.

I find it bizarre that we apparently spent time chasing Brian Graham and Billy McKay yet are now at a point with Rose as our only real striker and from what I’ve seen on him (admittedly very little) he’s not in the mould of either McKay or Graham. So have we abandoned plans to play that way or are we still in the market for a striker?

We’ve played 2 league games FFS. At this point lst season, we’d been pumped out the league cup group stages, Dipo looked like he couldn’t hit a barn door and we were mourning the loss of Tomi as if he was the messiah. We played some inept, turgid football until the signings of Mullin and Chalmers shone some light. Im not saying everything is perfect but it is far too early to be writing the season off as a disaster and stating the model is a failure and the club overloaded because we’ve dared to appoint a sports scientist.

Could’ve been 5th, we were lucky etc etc. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Sustainably progress takes time.

Explain how it has ballooned? What positions due you feel are unnecessary? We finished 2nd on the 2nd tier for the first time in 20 Years, in what world is the new model not working??

I don’t care if they are flashing their panties, if they are paying their way it can only be a good thing. Id even be happy for building companies/ trades to get free boards in exchange for doing work in the club on the new stand or ongoing maintenance.
