Just like to say thanks for all your hard work bud, enjoyed all your highlights and is clearly something you have a talent for. The video up at Lochee , sticks in the mind, and so well put together. I never understood the flack you took, on this forum, though as you know people are hard to please. All the best A, for new adventures, and wish you well, Talbot TV,no to bad a legacy to be leaving.

Appreciate you taking the time to type that, means a lot. Glad to leave a lot of memories for fans to always look back on. 👍 I’ll still be in real life and social media so feel free to keep in touch.

Not sure what that is but was only kidding anyway.

All the best with the new post pal 👍

Cheers mate. Just meaning not sure how you’d go about that without using personally identifiable details. Can use someone else’s or made up ones I guess.

Aye said on Facebook Talbot is the type of club who will always attract new people and heroes so look forward to the next incarnation. Good luck to Lee and hopefully doesn’t get any the hassle I did in moving to another club to do media.

    This is spot on.

Rebuilding an entire team having released some of our best players and expecting to compete at the same time is a massive ask in a very tough league.Fingers crossed Maxi can do it.

Spot on I think, he managed it at Rob Roy enough times, almost every season. Wouldn’t say it’s on the scale of Talbot but close, key will be how realistic the expectations are but decent performances will make all the difference I would imagine.

  4. Was just a personal opinion that it would be some reward for the club willing to support him. There is nothing major wrong physically as I understand his tweet regarding his scans. Change of scenery and dressing room even outside Ayrshire might be refreshing in mind and body.

Saw some pretty harsh comments in respects of weight but wasn’t long ago before the injury came back that he was jogging crazy lengths each day.

  5. I’m sure he’ll confirm or otherwise, always promote a bit of caution more so when it concerns doxing/outing of people. Said previously it was likely someone with a bit of beef rather than a seriously concerned fan which they were posing as.

A new thread to mark the start of a new era with our first change of manager for 13 years.

Here's hoping Joe Pryce is successful and is in the hotseat for as long as Willie Harvey was. We've only had 5 different management teams in the past 28 years, that's quite different from a lot of clubs at our level. (Willie Harvey - 13 years, Scott Smith / Willie Patterson - 5 years, Ross Anderson - 5 years, John Conlin - 5 years,)

    Signing news to follow.

Good luck, really good that Willie is still involved at the club. Came across really well in the recent tv footage and will offer Joe a lot of support.

You'd be lying if you said you don't enjoy the mentions though, right?

It’s a free country but didn’t appreciate the Talbot one for example, also not good to say with some certainty, like yer in the know, I’m joining whoever. Got something to prove now yes so happy to get back involved but given my recent experience it would have to be the right thing to get involved with.

  8. Kudos to my non existent agent sorting all these moves for me 😂😂 been a while since I’ve used a tea break for a p&b rumour so that much is appreciated. Not heard from anyone at Darvel and guessing that would need some discussion.

I am human though so if you could spare me the rumour mill until somethings at least legit it would save you looking a bit silly, regarding me anyway.

    Cheers.

My feelings exactly, doesn't read like a supporter to me

Agreed, supporter would say something like jury’s out or no convinced. This person goes all the way into u20s and even training, reads similar to another account on here. My guess would be it’s someone with some kind of grievance with the manager.

  10. Yeah think only recently we have seen the managements development of him. Seemed much more focused in recent weeks in my opinion and payed off on the pitch big time. Might have been the syngenta game the scout was at, few years back I knew most of them but even Cowdenbeath have a ‘scouting pool’ comprising of a number of prospective scouts. Followed them with a bit of interest as was impressed how they set it up and operated, while struggling on the field in opinions but off it making giant strides it would seem.
