  1. Congratulations to Mick and his players on a deserved win yesterday from myself and everyone at Eastfield.
  2. Disappointing post this. My players integrity is intact. Congratulations to Colville on winning the league and commiserations to St Pats.
  3. Congrats to Bannockburn from all at Eastfield.
  4. Best of luck to Jinky and Bannockburn boys. Hopefully do the business.
  5. U joking? Change? Seriously?never[emoji23]
  6. I think that’s the only other monday we would be free.
  7. Tbh mate better that than Monday 27th May
  8. I took it you were a pennies man.
  9. Seems we are making the same point? Set up not allowing teams to play teams of similar ability resulting in teams folding as they’re getting beat every week.
  10. You might be right my point is 2 1st divisions isn’t working imo should be prem 1st and 2nd.
  11. Reason teams fold imo is they struggle to keep players interested when they are getting beat every week. I’m of the opinion we should follow the example of cale league and look at 3 divisions. That way everyone can find there level.
  12. Some of the comments are hilarious my team was accepted into Csafl in 2008 and we were a Sunday team that had only got quarters of Sunday Scottish. This isn’t a new thing
  13. Commiserations to St Pats last night who defo were better side over the course. Probably our poorest performance of the season especially without the ball as we struggled to get distances right on that big pitch. Considering all that showed great grit to stick in and stay in game. St pats will win silverware this year imo just matter of time.
  14. Interesting west draw [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  15. Auld yin with knowledge [emoji102]
  16. Whilst I agree that there’s issues regarding numbers of players coming through from youth football. football is about commitment and I think it’s easy to just point finger at players. So many clubs these days can’t field a team and then the next week they’ve folded. I personally feel to many guys running teams throw the towel in when times get tough. I think if you work hard and don’t burn bridges you should always be able to get a team together. Also think over 35s has had a bearing on amateurs as experienced players who teams could count on as squad players are now thinking f**k that I’ll go and play 90 mins on a Friday night.
  17. If away your correct I can’t control it. they try and swap but that’s different from them not thinking we are at home only for it to be switched that day. As I said rule doesn’t suit my club as we don’t have a big/strong enough squad to be missing key players due to this. That’s our opinion but every club has there opinion on it.
  18. I’m not taking about taking a Saturday overtime shift. Some of them work every 2nd sat as part of there shift
  19. It was Michael. I voted against it, won’t effect us to much with us playing in 3G but I don’t think clubs should be made to switch the game for few reasons ie it doesn’t always suit when you have guys working in call centres for example and are coming to a home game only for it to be moved 30 mins drive away. Most teams outwith maybe yourselves and maybe southside don’t have the squad sizes that can deal with missing key players when game is switched.
