  1. Tom Newton Dunn claiming in the sun that Tory grandees favour Gove taking over as PM then handing over to Colonel tRuthless in 2021. Well she does come out with the same repetitive crap all the time then hide, just like our present PM

  2. The SNP are big government.

They want involvement in pretty much every aspect of your life. Food consumption, alcohol consumption, labelling of products, raising your tax payments to higher than the rest of your British colleagues... etc etc. They are the nanny state

If this is what you want, keep them in power. If not, you know the alternates.

Oh no, not the tax lie again ffs
  3. I have to confess the sense of tumbleweed blowing across the subject of Indy2 has had a detrimental effect on my quality. Finding it hard to motivate myself to make quality comments on the political equivalent of Bigfoot or The Loch Ness Monster. If you find any signs of Indy2 make sure and get a blurry photo at least or some low resolution footage on a mobile phone. Believe..

Blurry photos in the Sunday papers the other week of the beginnings of indyref2
  4. 'Healthy' food is very cheap. You can get a whole bag of carrots for 45p for example. Onions are about 11p each. A pack of 3 peppers is about 99p. You can get a pack of 2 chicken breasts for £2. A pack of prawns is about £2. Mince is fairly cheap as well.
I think it's a total myth that eating healthily is more expensive, much the like much vaunted 'bottled water is more expensive than beer!' nonsense.

Next time you see prawns for £2 buy me 20 packets and I'll come and get them from you [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  5. I'm going to Highland Park today for a 7 whisky tasting tour. I'll be massively popular when arriving for family meal at tea time.

We did the Highland Park tour a few years ago, and this English guy who fancied himself as professor of whisky really was pissing off the tour guide with his talking over her and generally being an arse. When it came to the tasting everybody was given a really substantial glass of whisky, but she gave him at least a half pint and stood over him until he drank it all, with everyone watching him and asking for his expert opinion.
  6. Yet more heavily pro-Brexit shite on the BBC.
This time some daft Aussie billabong burd telling us to get on with it.

    Wid though.

Chloe Westley, of the "taxpayers alliance". On QT on Thursday night and daily politics yesterday. She was top media person in voteleave, so is an ultra rightwing think tanker being given the oxygen of publicity by the oh so impartial bbc, like their other pet fascist Kate Andrews of big tobacco fame, who was on again on Thursday daily politics
  7. I’ve been sat near the jukebox in the boozer all evening and trying to predict what artist/genre someone is going to choose as they approach the jukebox is possibly my new favourite pastime.

Sorry, but you have been sitting near the jukebox all evening. When I started working many years ago I worked beside guys from Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire and they used "sat" in that context but nobody in Ayrshire where we worked did then, but I've noticed it creeping into Scottish parlance, and not in a good way.
