Congrats to the Fawkurt Bairns. Incredible league campaign. Next seasons Championship could quite conceivably have 8 teams who feel worthy of winning it. See you all in 4 months.

I’d imagine everyone would keep Jak if that becomes his standard. We all know it’s unlikely to be though. Even getting 10-15 games a season of that calibre a performance would be an upgrade on what’s happened to date. I fear he’ll need plenty more big performances to secure a longer stay here, based on current contracts for others.

Ah well. Played better than expected with no effective front man. Didn’t expect to score but at least we were on front foot and then the subs. Deary deary me.
4/4 sucks ass but it happens. Peter Grant and John Hughes aided me in removing most the negative emotion from the game, so it’s easier to digest. Thank f**k we won’t have anymore games against Rovers this season, they’re a level or 2 above us at moment.

The words I've always heard and joined in are "we f*cking hate you", however it makes no sense whatsoever, as many have pointed out over the years. The words should be "we don't even hate you, you're just a wee team" but there's no doubt "we fu*king hate you" is what people do end up singing.

When I lived in Southampton they used to sing "Que Sera, Sera (wash your mouth out son)" and the final line I'd always heard ("Pars are number one") which rhymed with son and gun in the previous lines was supplanted by "and support the Saints" which doesn't rhyme with any other line in the song. Really annoyed me, that did!
Just to clarify, I’m not saying I heard it in 1994, that’s when I started going to games. So whenever it started after that, I sang it as “we fucking hate you”. Mind you, I’m probably an idiot.

I may have been in the minority but when I was a wee scamp taking in games from circa 1994 onwards, I thought the words were “we fucking hate you”. Apologies to all fellow Pars fans I’ve offended.

Two things to take from this...
1. Our social media seems to have infiltrated the Dunfermline dressing room. I'd say that is a win for the social media team.
