Why not just abandon all leagues other than the premiership, which would only be continued to see who would become champions & who gets into Europe. These could possibly be behind closed doors Promote the current top 4 teams in the championship to create a 16 team premiership next season. Do similar for the remaining leagues down the pyramid. It would be some quick fire league reconstruction, but nobody would be losing out and majority of team would actually gain something.

How many teams currently in the SoS league are licensed?

I can see teams from the SoS league applying for either the new WoSFL or the EosFL Upper Annandale & Mid Annandale are bang on the motorway and currently have u20 teams in the EoSFL. Lochmaben are only a few miles away from Lockerbie too. Stranraer Res, Wigtown, Newton Stewart, Creetown & Threave all have reasonable access up the West coast. Bonnyton & Caley Braves are already up that way. Nithsdale Wanderers in Sanquhar are probably closer to most West junior clubs than teams from the SoS league. That would only leave Lochar, Heston & Abbey Vale stuck in a no-mans land. Interesting few months ahead.....

Why not have a North/East region & a South/West region? Get any declared interest before a certain date and then restructure from there? [emoji102]

It will be a bit time consuming, but hopefully worth it for comparing teams next season. Good to see that both sets of supporters were vocal throughout the game, although The Mids casuals were probably outnumbered by about 10-1 [emoji15][emoji1]

Well done to Musselburgh, their victory was well deserved. Fitter, faster and generally better all round. The Musselburgh No 4 is a joy to watch and makes the game look easy. The big bald defender is excellent with the ball at his feet for such a big guy. Lucky if the Burgh keeper had 10 touches of the ball during the 90 mins. Just goes to show that the South of Scotland League should probably be below even the EoS A & B conferences in the pyramid. Off topic slightly, but I’m working on an Elo rating system for the whole of Scottish football using league results for this season only to have as a base and then build upon next season for if teams meet in cups etc Level 1 - Premier League Level 2 - Championship Level 3 - League One Level 4 - League Two Level 5 - Highland & Lowland Leagues Level 6 - East of Scotland Premier Level 7 - East of Scotland A & B Level 8 - South of Scotland League I can post the results once collated and if people are interested?
