4 Albion Rovers players v 3 in total from East Kilbride, Tranent and Bo’ness. Don’t think so
I know
Shocking to think someone would pick 3 defensive players from a team with the vest defensive record in the league by a mile, along with a striker who is regularly scoring

What is the difference between a Stadium and a Park?
Dalbeattie Star v Clyde in the Lowland League next season, who would have believed that
I certainly wouldn't considering Dalbeattie Star aren't in the lowland league

His name wasn’t in the mix but his pal in the press would have you believe that it was. They also claimed he had turned it down leaving us to turn in desperation to Ian McCall. Like a candidate of mccalls calibre would be playing second fiddle to the chicken man .
Yeah everyone was desperate to get McCall in,
The Dramatic turn aaround in Clyde's form has been unprecedented

His name was supposedly in the mix for the Clyde job. If can find another club willing to sign up for the circus he brings that's in the SPFL he'd take it. There's no guarantee EK will run away with the league next year if they're in it, certiainly not in the Sep/Oct when jobs start to open up.
One of the few (only?) in the LL that can claim a sell-out in the league. With League Two clubs typically averaging over 500+, EKFC would be turning away fans. K Park isn't going to be good enough for their long-term ambitions. Something they know as they've tried to get something done in the past.
We played EK on boxing day
The Rovers fans out numbered the EK fans

Why they're pointless is Glasgow-Alloa-Cumbernauld-Dumbarton in the span of 10 years.
There was a spell before Alloa where they played in Airdrie
I thought there was more than 70 there though as said about 15-20 from Broomhill,
Today there were no more than 4 or 5 supporting Broomhill

I see you boys have signed Callum Wilson, formerly of ourselves and Albion Rovers. Have to say. I'm surprised to see him jumping back up to League One - but maybe Michael McIndoe is the sort of frightening gaffer he needs to whip him back into shape. I think there's a smashing player hiding in there, but how you coax it out I'm not quite sure.
I posted this on Albion Rovers' thread when they brought him in over the summer.
There were 2 seperate incidents he fell out with management and was basically bombed out the team,
Has been training with garrowhill ams the last few weeks and apparently wasn't very convincing about his side of the story

From what I hear you are signing Callum Wilson from Albion Rovers,
Hes been frozen out the squad most of the last few months after 2 seperate falling outs with the manager and has been training with garrowhill amateurs last couple weeks
Decent player but questions over his attitude, was previous managers publicly questions his fitness and attitude

Looking at the BU site and wondered if I was at the same game, only one team played any football, and it wasn't them. Without the sending off Rose would have had the 3 points, and would hope it will be appealed. And how do Bo'ness get a safety certificate for that terracing ? Unsafe, complete safety hazard.
We get stick for cliftonhill but I can't understand how the terrace at bo'ness in ok
How is Cammy Binnie doing, he was really good at rovers a few seasons ago, wrongly dropped by the manager at the time, had a rediculosly good record at saving penalties

Maybe respective league position might be a more useful barometer for the " better team". On the day you did what you did to excellent effect. Perhaps if you did that more often with these same diligence and effort, repeat effort, you might even be a " better team".
I am struggling to see what you are trying to say here,
Is this a "haha we are top of the league and your not so get it up you" post?
If so just say it instead of coming out with whatever this is after you have spat your dummy
Anyway, interesting to note rovers had more shots on target (4 out of 4) than EK did today (3 out of 11), with 3 of them ending up in the net would suggest rovers were able to block shots and limit EK to just hitting it from anywhere.
Rovers also remain unbeaten at K-Park, 4 competative wins and 1 friendly win

As much as Sandy Clarke got his tactics spot on today, I do thinkEK have the quality to make a very different result on Sat

Not really late especially 67 mins, 23 mins of the game left, not even the final quarter, 15 mins of the game isn't late enough to be called a sucker punch
Possession and shots
Let's not beat around the Bush EK had more I would be silly to argue against that
Control is an interesting one. A couple of the posters have bemoaned sideways passes. This could be put down to rovers controlling the game by being so defensive. Controlling where EK are able to play the ball
Total Domination isn't the correct choice of words and is 100% a case of Mick trying to spin a 3-1 home loss to a team not in form at the moment
I wouldn't even say EK were the better team, in my books the better team is the team who scores the most goals and finds a way to win, but that would be me being picky

Presume you were asleep when about 6 of the best ever balls played inside the full backs you could ever wish to see, or countless defenders turned inside out, crosses made happened. Yes we didn't make the most of these chances ( sorry didn't make anything happen) we are crying out for strikers who anticipate, get a shot away and we will be OK.
Total credit to Rovers, scored a peach early doors, defender well and caught us with two sucker punches late on.
Late on????? Rovers second was 67 mins and third 75 mins
Not exactly the end of the game,
I thought EK looked the good side they are, can't understand people who are moaning about the ball going side to side, rovers were set up defensively and were well disciplined
Total domination mick says, I think more possession and more shots, but can't say you dominated a team when you are 3-0 down

Is it for the Saturday match v Civil Service Strollers? If so the bar will be open in the ground before (from 13.00) and after the game (till 18.00)
Regarding pubs, Owens is the closest to the ground, though the St. Andrews bar is a far better pub 15 min walk away through the main street
