  1. Probably the best band your mates and Joe Public have never heard of in all those genres.
  2. If you’re in the Premier Inn could you ask for Marta the manageress and call her a c**t please? If not, could you pop round and call her a c**t please?
  3. Great goal and a great three points. Also was fantastic to see the new away kit get an outing at home versus Celtic
  4. Completely ignoring the fact that for some reason somebody stuff Saville’s head on this gif…. Can anyone remind me what band and song this video was from??
  5. What is “Tony’s situation”?
  6. I disagree in this case - A 50 year old who looks to be in fantastic condition and proven numerous times in recent years that he can still go is a far better look than seeing the likes of Taker, Goldberg and Austin being dragged out the retirement home in recent years for one-offs or short term feuds that are a hard watch and also add zero to the weekly product.
  7. For me the AEW product is just far better overall than WWE, as is their (albeit bloated) roster. I watch all three AEW shows almost every week since it’s inception. Prior to AEW starting, for probably 7 or 8 years I’d watch Raw or Smackdown maybe half a dozen times a year plus the Rumble and Wrestlemania and always find myself thinking that it was utter garbage. Although it’s far from flawless, AEW has made me really enjoy watching wrestling on a weekly basis again. All that being said, and without any real foundation, there’s a part of me keeps thinking it’ll all go WCW eventually as long as WWE are the top dogs. Tony Khan seems to smart (and rich) on the face of it for that to happen but I often wonder if he’ll get bored of it all one day.
  8. Young Luke Rankin who’s recently joined the Shire on loan from Alloa is one I’d like to have seen us try get when he was made available.
  9. Thought BU were comfortable but a tad pedestrian the first half. The one real piece of fast play led to a well worked goal. Second half right across the team BU upped the pace significantly and played some really good football. We are still a far better side when Michael Gemmell starts and bosses the midfield. McCauley and Johnston the two stand outs for me but a very good team performance across the whole team. Porteous had another fairly quiet game though.
  10. What a result. Gutted to have missed the game. who is Irving and I assume he’s a centre back?
  11. What also did BU no favours was the delay/pissing about inside or whatever they were doing at half time. Cumbernauld Utd were back out on the pitch warming up for the best part of 5 minutes before BU returned to the field. No surprise then that from the moment the whistle blew to start the second half, BU were immediately on the back foot and looked miles off it.
  12. Hoping for 3 points today to get back on track. Cracking day but will give this one a miss. Alliance Park is up there with CSS in the awful away days stakes for me.
  13. Wouldn’t say I sympathise with the CM Punk as such, but I think he’s had a big fat target on his back since the second he came back a couple of months ago. Wouldn’t be remotely surprised if various members of the AEW roster have been slowly chipping away at Punk and pushing his buttons until the inevitable lossing of the heid happened.
  14. Top Gear/Grand Tour type-show presenter. Getting paid silly money to travel the world driving fast cars whilst behaving like a complete manchild at every opportunity? Yes please.
  15. When I was there it was for work on a day it was dark, grey and pissing rain sideways. However I did have possibly the best flapjack I’ve ever tasted at the wee cafe.
  16. Given the general positive feedback from all quarters off the back of All In - Auld Vince must be utterly seething!
  17. Fetlar. Genuinely the most bleak place I’ve ever been. 5/6 hours felt like 5/6 months.
  18. Did Jungle Jack or Hook feature at all on the pre-show? I only watched the main show. Onto the event and some thoughts: *Punk and Joe was beige. Shite finisher. *FTR are an actual delight to watch. Proper tag team. *Mox with the wooden sticks in his head! Been thinking it for ages now but it’s definitely time the Blackpool Boredom Club were disbanded. Nothing remotely entertaining from them again as usual. Oh but there was forks, blood and a big swing…. Yaaaaawn. *Osprey best not get pushed beyond this event. Limmy-face that accent bruv. *MJF v Adam Cole was excellent. Couple of music observations: *Swerve Strickland has the actual worst theme tune in all of wrestling ever. *Sting and Darby getting Seek & Destroy would’ve probably cost a pretty penny and would’ve been massive with a U.S crowd but it fell completely flat on the U.K crowd with the exception of a few old school Metallica fans. *Jericho doing the Freddie was horrific as was continuing to sing (badly) and not letting the crowd finish Judas.
  19. That “passing the torch” moment between ‘Taker and Wyatt is incredibly poignant now. All faces of Wyatt are easily the best gimmicks since ‘Taker. My favourite thing about that moment - Wyatt’s face when ‘Taker whispers something to him, the Bray Wyatt character just ceases to be and what you just see the real life humble, respectful Windham Rotunda caught in a moment of almost childlike awe and respect for a true legend.
  20. Said he still wants to be involved at Tranent though so they’ve invited him onto their committee.
  21. Albion Rovers defence were superb.
  22. Agreed but seems a better option than just completely writing off a doable trip to Campbeltown.
  23. Just came on to say Stornoway pudding isn’t even the best black pudding on Lewis despite its widespread reputation and was going to recommend a far better option but looks like Don Diego is ITK… Correct! A visit to Cross Stores in Ness is a must. By a country mile the best black pudding I’ve ever had. Far superior to the Stornoway stuff.
