  1. anecdotally, I don't know a single person who hasn't 100% reverted to 2019 behavior save perhaps for testing when showing symptoms. pubs and restaurants are full, barely anyone can be seen wearing a mask. I don't believe those results are accurate
  2. Authorities in China have warned that a new virus, known as "white lung pneumonia" is understood to be a new strain of something or other that has not previously been identified in humans. Signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. C Is it time to stock up on those little surgical masks? toilet paper & sanitizer gel. Are we all completely fucked? Should we only drink between 12-6pm with a scotch egg and without music? Should I take the ivermectin I stockpiled for covid? Have any P&Bers ever been part of a worldwide pandemic China 'white lung' virus: Experts fear mystery illness could be caused by 'new pathogen' (msn.com)
  3. I would 1000% break any lockdown rule if she text me to come over.
  4. not true, mentality, support and expectation all feed into a greater collective mindset amongst the teams and management. for the same reason as games played in front of large and noisy support tend to be faster and more energetic than ones played in front of sparse and quiet crowds. The collect malaise around our capability definitely affected the mindset of players and managers in the past even if they might not have been world class otherwise
  5. As opposed to our tradition of seeing Lithuania as a difficult game? where did the losers mentality get us in the past? fuckin naewhere, that's where
  6. A quick 5 mins of research shows there is quite a racial element to this. Not sure it's as funny as some on the thread think it is. this is more than just wee neds being wee neds
  7. But early tho? Hamilton havent dropped any more points in the league than a fortnight ago
  8. Not to sound like a main stand moaner but I’m slightly concerned that over the last 15 years we have almost no ability to score at the other end of our own psrk
  9. Ive noticed a difference in the Irish government today from our own, coming out strongly saying that last night out of order and those responsible will be dealt with. Compare that of our fucking home secretary actively encouraging thugs and undermining the police! I must admit, I was into conspiracy theory's about 15 or so years ago. I definetely do not remember this nasty right wing racist element that we are seeing now. Back then it was mostly pre occupied with the 2008 financial crash and your average conspiracy follower was more likely to be a weed smoking hippy or an anarchist. I gave up following it after a couple of years. What changed?
  10. Very good explanation. If it were to happen, what chance is there a majority of Dutch voters vote to leave the EU tho? Given they are a smaller land area with many people who cross their currently open border daily, even that wee toon baarle hertog that has different streets split between Belgium and Netherlands. We are daft island c***s but surely they don’t have the apetite to cut their nose of spite their face?
  11. Thats something to think about, as much as FPTP is flawed, doesnt this model end up giving the voters something that no one wanted?
  12. Those immigrants working in care homes, their visa's are sponsored by their employer, what alot of people maybe don't know is that this means they are NOT allowed to work for anyone else in the UK and they cannot leave the employment and go work elsewhere. If they quit their job, they can't claim benefits, they also can't use the NHS for free despite some of them actually working for the NHS. This is the things these 2 faced c***s are neglecting to tell you, this suits the employers perfectly. Nae c**t wants to wipe arses for minimum wage. If minimum wage work is all that's available to you then you'd much rather get it working is ASDA or Greggs, even the eastern European workers were free to to them to ram it if they'd had enough. They want to keep pay low and have people tied to a shitty job Also NET migration is at an all time high partly because all the auld c***s can no longer move to Spain without a visa any more. They should f**k up.
  13. Looks awfy like a bus shelter to me? are normal bus shelters designated for specific faiths? does anyone even know? That lee Rigby event with a lassie singing rangers songs in a social club is a new level of grim
  14. Crude from the north sea is generally not refined at Grangemouth any more, there is a pipeline from the receiving terminal to storage capacity at dalmany outside Queensferry and floating loading jetties under the forth bridge, they have been there for years but since the mid 2000 they have sent most of the crude for export. nowadays the oil from the north sea is too high in Sulphur, acid and other stuff to be handled by the refinery and is mostly exported. the refinery imports crude from elsewhere like any other refinery. The new oil fields are in the west of Shetland which have never been connected by pipeline, they will use offshore loading and export direct to market like the existing fields in that area. Refining in first world countries (except the USA) is finished. Also, the 4th stand blastzone theory is complete pish
  15. Ken something, it’s actually been so long since another club has wanted any of our contracted players I forgot it was even a possibility!
  16. Well aye but they could quite easily come out and say “ with the benefit of hindsight” blah blah blah and still have their credibility. blaming politicians for being ineffective seems an easy way out when they too didnt seem to have much of a plan I can’t believe those scientist tasked with creating measures to reduce the harm from covid wouldnt have also had to think about the side effects of them
  17. OK, We get it , Boris is a moron. I don't think we really needed a public enquiry to tell us that. Can we actually start looking at the ins n outs of what worked, what didn't work, what was counter productive and what lessons can be learned?
  18. mate, if your wondering why everyones ganging up on you, it's because you're talking pish
  19. I know what you mean and you're right that it's a bit more nuanced than I've made out. But to give you a couple of anecdotes, A man I worked with once said plainly that the snp had his vote because of free university as he had two children who were coming up to school leaving age and wanted to go to uni, he also said he wasn't to sure about independence. Another man said he voted tory in 2015 because of the pension freedom reforms of that year as he had long service in a final salary scheme and wished to take it out, another voted tory because he and his wife had a property portfolio and the conservative's were more friendly to landlords both in tax and law. These are just ordinary people Multiply that over the rest of society and you see where I'm coming from
  20. I've mentioned this before, I think a lot of people on here get that bit wrong quite often. I think quite a large number of voters don't actually care about the background of individuals or groups of individuals running for office, it's usually; A- They like the policy's of a particular party or candidate B - They believe that they and their families will do best under a particular parties government C- A combination of both
  21. maybe slightly off topic here but anyway, Since leaving school, for the last 18 years I've worked almost exclusively with other blokes, whether it's been in an office or on a site, for the last 3 months for the first time ever really I've been working in a space that's more or less 50/50. by f**k, women do not like other women. I thought that was just a misogynistic stereotype as well
  22. I think we are all ignoring the elephant in the room, This vote is a complete and utter waste of everyone's time and has absolutely no effect on the real world situation in Gaza because Israel is not beholden to the UK or any other parliament. They don't even care about the UN or international law, they will do as they see fit. The only possible outside influence that might change the situation would be very serious pressure from the US, which isn't happening. I actually laughed out loud last week when the news announced that the welsh government had called for a ceasefire! could just imagine all those commanders franticly trying to get orders to the front line.. "stop! Stop! hold your fire! what serg? "the welsh government have voted for a ceasefire! everyone stop where you are aye ok mark
