  1. as I've said before, what do you think your wife would say if she discovered you had deleted loads of messages from your phone? would it be business as usual..
  2. Like I said during the lockdown, some of these people don't seem to realise that everyone of us literally risks our life every day in one form or another. If people were this anal about everything else they would never get in a car
  3. get through tomorrow, get one of the old firm away in the next round, pocket the cash. then pump them silly obviously
  4. The biggest improvement in men's general appearance over the last 30 years, has been that those who are starting to go bald reach a point of no return when they say f**k it and shave the rest off and subsequently keep it that way. Nothing makes someone look like an auld c**t than the horseshoe of remaining hair from the ears round the back of the head, the tufty bit on the forehead left behind by the receding line or worst of all the dreaded comb over. Being totally bald looks 100% better than any of these options
  5. it's quite scary to think that any one is even thinking about voting for him after all his carry on. first time round maybe but now ffs?
  6. The whole crowdwanking thing has entertained me a lot on here over the years it must be said! I think it came from us having a relatively large yet unfinished stadium (that was designed when that daft 12k rule was still in place) that was often criticised for quietness and poor atmosphere, especially during the Pressley era. I think a lot of Falkirk fans felt the need to justify or defend this by pointing out that it was still quite a large support etc etc and its really just grown arms & legs since then.
  7. Ive been a shitebag so far this season but for once I feel like just being bold.. WE’RE GONY WIN THE LEAGUE we’re gony win the league we’re gony win the league nana nana na na na we’re gony win the league
  8. it's also a myth, hardly any countries in Europe play a calendar year season and the number has actually decreased in recent years. only Ireland and the nordics still do it, Denmark switched to a winter one a few years back
  9. Tried lobster for the first time in my 30s, couldn't believe what all the hype was about, a very average taste at best
  10. I can feel this one, we are going to humiliate Hartley as justice for his arrogance in 2018.
  11. January 2005, very tidy young lady was 100% interested. Missed an absolute open goal cause I was too pished and too socially awkward. Always haunted me that! old football matches? Nah, we’ll win trophy's in my lifetime …
  12. Surely they can afford to hire a decent PR firm?
  13. Sorry but in almost all circumstances its as simple as this; arsehole neds have arsehole dugs people who have dugs as pets who care for and train them generally have well behaved dugs. You get things like seperation anxiety and so on but they tend to present as more nuisance thinga like persistant barking, chewing things and pishing in the house. They dont normally go round biting folk
  14. New year has been declining for years. I went to some great parties until maybe 2013. Havent been to any since and have noticed that less and less people give a toss these days too. Cant remember the last time we had the traditional steak pie dinner at my parents either ( which I love) I always remember people insisting on house parties because “town (falkirk) would be so heaving” it would be impractical. I remember going out in falkirk, I think for hogmanny 15/16 and I was struck by how quiet most of the pubs were. Halloween has probably overtaken hogmanny by miles now. Christmas wins by an absolute mile. Save for some fireworks at the bells, no one gives a shit anymore
  15. Two things to keep in mind here, 1) those with the ability to bypass paye will continue do so and will be unaffected by this. So were talking about c***s with jobs at the end of the day, not the 1% 2) As much as there are plenty of out of touch wankers spouting this shite about the less well off, be careful not to sound spiteful in a “ ha ha serves you right for getting paid too mich” kind of way
  16. Am I right in thinking though, the money raised can't be kept my the SG, all revenues go directly to HM treasury & then distributed back via the block grant? I think they've lost my vote, first time since turning 18 aswell
  17. I am one of those ND c***s, now I am the probably the furthest from a fussy eater you will get, But nevertheless there are certain combinations I don't like, but it's not an issue much now that I'm an adult in my 30's but things like beans touching the rest of my breakfast could make me lose my appetite completely when I was wee. I still sometimes do this weird thing of eating all the items on a plate in order rather than a bite of this n that, varies from day to day.
  18. People who say " I don't need to try something to know I don't like it" should be shot on site
  19. 'How high must it go?!' Neil Oliver on excess deaths in the aftermath of the COVID pandemic | Watch (msn.com) Here he goes again. Are you actually allowed to present outright conspiracy theory's as news on UK television? do they not have to have a disclaimer with "some believe" or whatnot
  20. I can see both sides of the argument for taxing high earners in all honesty. On the one hand I'm very fortunate to have a job that pays well and on another day I might have fucked my interview and not got it. But on the other hand I've also made big big sacrifices to my personal & social life, the kind that many other people would have been unwilling to make. On a good year I will break this new threshold but only through doing WTD bursting amounts of overtime which is why it's a bit of a kick in the baws. I'm already hammered with PAYE, When people who earn significantly more money have options to bypass PAYE entirely using methods like limited companies and so on. I've supported independence since before it was cool. I've always been personally worse of under the SNP but it has been balanced out by the fact that the rest of my family have been quite a bit better off. I would still vote for indy in another referendum but upon independence happening I would vote for a party with a bit lower taxes tbh. There is no realistic prospect of a proper indy ref happening this decade so I might give another party a try next time round. Hard to pick tho as they are all woefull!
  21. As has been discussed already. It's basically anywhere outside of the greater Glasgow area,, which for some reason we insists on calling " the west coast" or "the west" despite it only taking up a tiny proportion of the actual western part of Scotland . I don't know why we find it so difficult, other large cities surrounded by large satellite towns have no problem referring to themselves this way - Manchester being a good example
