The boys were excellent again and deserved the 3 points. There is no doubt that we would have won the game and comfortably if we could have added Mcglaughlin, MacPherson, Matty MacDonald and a fully fit Scott Walker to the team. With Dougie also struggling with a knock, we are really unlucky to be hit with this all at once. This team will keep fighting and keep producing.

Ewan will be out for a couple of weeks. Knee injury I think. He was brilliant for us at the start of the season. He offers something different to Josh Jack and could be an excellent partnership. Injuries to Aiden, Ewan and Matty as well as suspension of Rodden a bit of a blow with 2 big games coming.

Cracking result and amazing performance last night. Received the most recent Cowdenbeath Independent Supporters Society (CISS) Membership numbers yesterday. We currently have 58 paid members. Anyone who would like to contribute would be greatly appreciated. We are looking at an ambitious target of 75 members by Saturday. 17 more supporters would see this happen and help us move towards out targets. If you have recently setup payments, Membership numbers will be sent very soon. Let's do this!

I believe it was for a comment at the Hearts player which was stupid of him! Facing an unnecessary ban now! Away from this, we were outstanding in the first half and worked socks off second half. The team are a joy to watch. The tactics from Fox second half embarrassing. Encouraging a long ball from a Development team really poor.

The shop, unfortunately has none of the striped strips. There are players worn black tops for £10 and white shorts from last season selling for £5. There are also training tops for £20. I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks Gordon

Wish that could be the excuse this week. Don't know where the added mins came from but again can't make this excuse. We were unfortunate hitting the bar and a wonder save from CSS keeper in second half but always looked vulnerable. Need to somehow stop losing late goals and I'm sure this will happen and hopefully even out over the season.

Dougie due to be involved but struggling during warm up. Lucas Berry was wearing number 12 so looks like he came in for Robbie McNab in midfield who covered Dougie.

Totally agree. There will be something posted again soon. Membership is going OK. We have over 50 signed up but only 30 so far commenced payments. There was 70+ initially interested so hopefully can get them on board. I'm sure all Cowden fans will be trusting Callum with any additional spend.

Andy Black is a good player but as was mentioned better moving on if not being selected. The manger is getting everything spot on and has made correct decisions. New keeper looks better, Forward line more mobile than Sinky etc and midfield not being overrun. The team last season with the exception of Walker and Berry (both of whom very much fit the system) now replaced and is allowing for a fresh and exciting season ahead. Hopefully the money from Black's wages can keep big Dougie for longer. He was immense on Saturday and brings great experience. Looking forward to tonight's game but Saturday is when it really begins.

Very impressed with the team. Moved the ball very well at times and played on the front foot. This group will win lots of games.

Left back was required and Andy Rodden decent. Dougie Hill will offer that bit of experience. Looking forward to the season ahead.

The opportunity to become involved at what you can afford will hopefully allow more to be part of the society. Hopefully the majority can contribute at the recommended amount or above. We will be offering an incentive/reward scheme and this through time will relate to what is contributed. Early days but future meetings will result in further information.

We are certainly making the correct signings. Players with success in this league is a real positive. We will 100% be better than last season.

Should be a top top lower league signing as 24,000 ÷ 52 = just over £460 wages a week. We are rolling in cash

He is decent but nothing special, although certainly an upgrade on Pyper. Rates himself at a higher standard than he is. Will see Berwick as a stepping stone to the big time.
