2012-13
1st Dalbeattie
2nd St Cuthberts
3rd Wigtown
4th Threave
5th Heston
2013-14 was the year the lowland formed which Threave and Dalbeattie moved into. Wigtown won the league and Heston finished 6th.
Nothing on the south website before 2012-13 season so may have happened then but can’t check up.
Your correct. My bad

When have Heston ever finished above Threave and St Cuthberts in the south league since they joined? Have Heston ever finished in the top 4?
You had a go at management but Heston have always been a mid table team, who have had some success in cups. Decent club, giving two young managers/coaches a chance.
They beat Mids at home, drew away today.
Lost 1-0 away to Threave (95th min)
Lost 2-0 home to St Cuthberts
Yes Heston have finished top four. Finished third behind Dalbeattie and threave the year before lowland league was formed.

You need to actually train for manager to be at training. Rumblings down Kirkcudbright way that they haven’t trained for weeks and weeks. Club seems a mess

Not personal just based on results not equating to the budget spent.

In 2 years the results are still poor and nowhere near what they should be in comparison to budget. For a team with one of highest budgets in league they shouldn’t be languishing where they are below a host of teams with zero playing budget.
reality is carrot can’t attract players because of the way he goes about his business and players of any quality see right through his nonsense.
without a doubt pound for pound the most underachieving club in the league for last 2 years.

We'll be in the 'Advanced Youth' Level one below the 'Performance Level' Dundee, Queen's Park and Morton are at. No idea why the SFA have missed that level off their press release. As MT says, the criteria for Project Brave are way, way out of our reach. Far bigger clubs than us have conceded it's not realistic. We were on the bottom level of the Club Academy ladder too. It doesn't stop us actually producing the odd decent player. It's all a bit up in the air at the moment until we see how it's all going to work but I don't think anything will fundamentally change for us. As far as I know we'll be running the same three age level squads we currently do and our youth funding levels are guaranteed for the next few years.
Criteria not out of reach if the board were ambitious in terms of youth development and if they had someone of suitable knowledge and drive to move it forward. Current set up doesn’t have a full time member of staff in place to drive it forward like most clubs do. Most youth / community set ups now have charitable status. Queens aren’t serious enough about either if you compare to other clubs. Only people at queens paid full time in community / youth are Eddie warwick and Danny Armstrong. Neither have experience or knowledge to drive this forward like other clubs do.

I was going to add in I wonder what he's doing now, your cleared that up for me.
Pretty sure he lectures at local college and does education programme for queens under 20s. Seen him at arena last year doing disability football sessions with them and they are at my kids school this year.

Did Wigtown committee vote Stranraer in at AGM or vote against them?

They only do 1 day. So no EMA. Just £10 a week from club which I'm unsure of how football clubs get away with it in terms of employment law

You only get EMA if you are in full time education. Queens boys won't get this as they are full time footballers doing part time college course .

In fairness both of them are top quality. Jake probably has the potential to be better but Wright has proved to be top quality for a long period of time. Not much between them. What Jake offers in potential and ability . Wright probably matches up in terms of experience and attitude. Not miles between them. Not a chance and if Jake matches Wrights career he will be doing well
