  1. Not sure that was the answer he was looking for
  2. Your correct. My bad it was 12-13 dalbeattie threave heston saints found it on heston website
  3. Yes Heston have finished top four. Finished third behind Dalbeattie and threave the year before lowland league was formed.
  4. You need to actually train for manager to be at training. Rumblings down Kirkcudbright way that they haven’t trained for weeks and weeks. Club seems a mess
  5. These supporters from CD need to worry more about their own club rather than the great work going on at Creetown. Looks like the new manager at threave hasn’t had the same impact as the new manager at Creetown. Standard threave though. Been chewing on sour grapes for years
  6. Not personal just based on results not equating to the budget spent.
  7. In 2 years the results are still poor and nowhere near what they should be in comparison to budget. For a team with one of highest budgets in league they shouldn’t be languishing where they are below a host of teams with zero playing budget. reality is carrot can’t attract players because of the way he goes about his business and players of any quality see right through his nonsense. without a doubt pound for pound the most underachieving club in the league for last 2 years.
  8. Carrot is clearly a poor coach, attracts poor players and has poor patter in the press. saints underachieving considering their budget. They should have one of best coaches in region with budget and facilities they have. instead they have this dumbass making a fool of the club with his nonsense chat and terrible recruitment. He’s lost better players than he’s recruited. Woeful. Feel sorry that a decent chap like razor is getting dragged down by him
  9. Looking like another summer of change. Any rumours on who will take Newton , Lochmaben or Creetown jobs? Could be hard for all three to recruit a manager. Doesn’t seem to be many going about.
  10. Not fussed about slaughtering abbey vale as they are a cracking club ran by decent human beings. However, take great pleasure in slaughtering uppers because they are pretty much the opposite and this seasons episode with gilfillan pretty much sums them up.
  11. Criteria not out of reach if the board were ambitious in terms of youth development and if they had someone of suitable knowledge and drive to move it forward. Current set up doesn’t have a full time member of staff in place to drive it forward like most clubs do. Most youth / community set ups now have charitable status. Queens aren’t serious enough about either if you compare to other clubs. Only people at queens paid full time in community / youth are Eddie warwick and Danny Armstrong. Neither have experience or knowledge to drive this forward like other clubs do.
  12. Pretty sure he lectures at local college and does education programme for queens under 20s. Seen him at arena last year doing disability football sessions with them and they are at my kids school this year.
  13. You must have. It’s all round Moffat . You must know
  14. Not before time . Good luck to whoever has to pick up pieces once all the money boys depart. Will only have a handful of players left
  15. He doesn’t coach anyway. Just shouts nonsense and bullies players. Joke of a manager at a joke of a club. Shame, as club was once upon a time a well run club representing its community.
  16. Heard over the weekend that another player has been signed for crazy money for this level. Those running the club should be embarrassed that they have allowed a manager to come in with his own (or his families) resources and allow his personal agenda to dictate the club. It's plain for all to see that he will jump ship at earliest opportunity at a higher level . He has touted himself about for every job going. When he leaves ,the club will be in a shambles. Very few players left, club detached from the community it was once at the heart of. Whilst everyone is criticising the manager for his approach surely those running the club should be accountable for putting the clubs long term future in doubt by allowing such a ludicrous model in place at a club that can't sustain such an approach. The only saving grace is that it's unlikely the manager will leave for another club because his reputation is poor at best. So maybe uppers will get another season or two of his idiotic approach before the club implodes. The chairman and committee should be ashamed at their weakness and allowing a manager to jeopardise the clubs values and future. Sad times for what was a once great club representing a supportive community.
  17. Every time YM go above saints in league I'm gonna roll about laughing at carrot and razor. Second time this season I've been on my living room floor .
  18. Carrots two former clubs above saints. Football never fails to surprise me
  19. Patiently waiting for the pro carrot brigade to come on here and defend 4 defeats from 4. The latest a defeat to a club that had no manager until a week or two before season starts whereas saints had all summer to plan and prepare and of course a budget to throw about which Heston don't have. How can people defend what is happening to saints who should be challenging at the top end. ym above saints in the league. What a time to be alive
  20. Not got a hate for saints or carrot. Just passing comment on a 'talking point' in the league. Saints expect to challenge for title and to attract best players in the league. It seems this year with the back 4 they are fielding that it is no longer the case. Hardly a sign of hate when all your doing is stating the obvious. Perhaps the carrot fan club should avoid the forum when times are bad. Might not see them for a large part of the season !!!!
  21. 2 defeats from 2 for saints means probably only afford 1/2 more defeats all season if they realistically want to challenge for title. Yet still to play Newton , Lochar and Threave. Hard to think a team with as big a budget as anyone could be out of title by the time the schools go back. Canny wait for folk to come on and defend carrot!!! be very surprised if saints have same management team by Christmas.
  22. I think Newton or Lochar. Don't think threave will be near those two. Saints defence will let them down against the better sides so can't see them challenging either.
  23. No surprise there. Long hard season ahead down at Raydale
