  1. Clydebank JFC,ES Clydebank,Clydebank FC. League Membership sold (against SFL rules at the time) to Jim Ballantyne (where’s he now) who created Airdrie United, remember them?
  2. Yaawn By rip roaring c*** of it you mean playing 3 seasons in the top league in Scotland as a part time club and reaching the Scottish Cup semi final at Hampden. “We” the fans who own the club now had nothing to do with the demise of the club, which was never bankrupt btw. There is absolutely no chance that we will ever put the club in jeopardy and we now play our football back in the seniors in an SFA registered league with the chance of progression.
  3. So called? Players get paid therefore they are professional.Certainly no less professional than all of the part time clubs in the SPFL . Clubs that have no intention of getting licensed and wanted to stay Mickey Mouse should just have stayed in the West Juniors imo.
  4. So in England they either let crowds in or get compensation at non league level yet up here we get neither! Well done Scottish Govt great way to kill the National sport .
  5. Jason Leitch said on Radio Scotland yesterday that crowds would be back first at smaller local games.
  6. You mentioned Grade,The WoSFL is a senior league the same as the SPFL..The Juniors is a different Grade run by its own FA. Why are we allowed to play if we’re not seen as professional? The Govt said professional football ONLY.
  7. If we weren’t classed as professional we wouldn’t be allowed to play at all. There is no grade,we’re not under the SJFA anymore.
  8. We’re not looking to make any money from it. Its just to keep fans interested, like many clubs are doing.
  9. We have offered to live stream/film the game and been told we can’t by Largs. Great way to promote the league and keep fans interested !
  10. Most of Pollok's players are on two year deals and I'd imagine they prepared these contracts with this eventuality in mind. I'd expect to see a fair few season long loan deals but it will be interesting to see how it all pans out. They’ll need to pay them full wages to keep them under contract surely? They’d be in breech if they didn’t.
  11. You’ve taken a year out, just let the vast majority get on with it.
  12. Aye because Kilbirnie had a chance of winning the league
  13. Better than sitting about for a year and a half doing nothing.
  14. “as the clubs thatare still playing are not the clubs with the biggerattendances as you said, they are the clubs wheremoney comes in through other means “ We are still playing.
  15. Utter rubbish,do you think Bankies rely on a sugar daddy? I think the problem is with clubs who have players who are only there for big wages. No wages = not playing.
  16. They’ll have gone there for the cash. Some serious money being spent by EK,Kelty and Darvel not to mention St Cadocs and Drumchapel Utd. It was always going to happen once there was a working pyramid system.
  17. Gormley was the manager of Rossvale when they lost to Clydebank, just saying.
  18. Righty, journalist and family connections. We want all the intel. Petershill were dreadful at the back last season and were relegated!
  19. The naming thing might bring in money but supporters will always just call the ground what its always been called!
  20. The fact that he couldn't finish the game due to not being fit enough is probably your answer. Good luck to big Rab and hopefully his fitness will improve as he goes along playing games for Yoker.
  21. Nothing malicious at all merely stating facts in answer to the one sided post from taxman who never mentioned that any of the Yoker bench were involved. My point about the youngsters was that we have a game against the best team in junior football on Saturday so rested a few experienced players that's all. I have no axe to grind with Yoker and hope you can get promoted this season.Im sure you will If the effort that was put in last night is replicated in your league matches.
  22. You missed the fact that the incident happened in front of our bench and that the entire Yoker bench ran across the pitch to get involved! We had 2 19 year olds and a 17 year old playing last night and we'll be playing in the 1/4 final next week. If Yoker had put half the effort they put in last night into their last 3 league games last season they wouldn't have been relegated.
