  1. How many seats are UKIP currently projected to take?
  2. If we got the other end behind the goal would it be at the expense of the home support or would they still be accommodated? I know fans don't like it but I'd imagine the club will want to maximise this opportunity.
  3. Is that including any of the terrace behind the goal with cover? Does that ever get given or would it just not be possible with your home crowd and logistics?
  4. We could potentially win the league there if Hamilton drop points and we win our next two. If so then we could take 2500-3000.
  5. Weird to think it was a year ago today that we first saw Don Cowan in Dundee colours.

  6. Quick question here; what is the away allocation that we will get next week? Noticed that the stand holds 2000 and we had about 800 yesterday. If we win on Tuesday then I can see that number being added to a bit. I'm quite confident that you can accommodate everyone but sometimes the stewards get a bit of a shock and haven't thought things through properly.
  7. Is it possible that it sort of piggy backed on something else to be interpreted by radar as another plane? My money is on this being viral marketing for a Lost return.
  8. A fair number of Conservative MPs are considering running as UKIP-Conservative candidates. I know that's not really the same thing but it doea need to be considered.
  9. A few years ago the Stenhousemuir 'keeper wore metal studs at Links Park. The board weren't happy but he basically just told them to f**k off and they couldn't do anything about it. That waa a few years ago so rules may have changed. Think the 'keeper was Ally Brown.
  10. There is a topic on a Dundee forum about stadium redevelopment and it got me thinking about replacing the Derry with something like your East Stand. Does anyone know how much that cost? When was it constructed?
  11. If you beat us next week then you would be five points behind top and back in with a shout of even winning the league!

  13. Yeah I'd expect that. I've always found it weird that the conservatives in Scotland have always retained their association with the main party. There is an opportunity in Scotland (especially with a more proportional voting system) to grab a significant share of the vote. I've always felt that for the most part the people that represent the Scottish Conservatives are sane and respectable enough.
  14. Yes of course. In the 2010 general election they took about 17% of the vote and in 2011 about 15% in Scotland. I think for the most part conservative voters will be the hardest to win over but I would expect a bigger turn out this time than in those elections.
  15. There is no way Henry McLeish won't endorse independence by the time of the vote. He's a free thinker and understands what his own party has become. One of the things that excites me about Scottish independence is the broader range of options that would be available to the electorate. A new Liberal party free of their Westminster characters and a proper influence would probably emerge and some of the SNP may flock to them. Then the current incarnation of Scottish Labour would either be made redundant or redefine itself to follow the ideals the party was founded on. I wouldn't expect many majority governments post independence which isn't a bad thing at all.
  16. In twenty minutes. And swear a lot of people to secrecy and a single story.
  17. The biggest issue with the McCann accident theory is that there is such a small window of time for everything to have happened in. If your daughter dies then I doubt you would be able to attend a meal and act as normal as they were behaving. So then you would have to assume that one of the parents had twenty minutes to dispose of the body which would have been hidden so well that it has never been found. On top of this you have to swear seven others to total secrecy and form a consistent alibi with them (which it was essentially despite what could be seen as some human recall errors). Then you have the witness statements of eleven workers that more or less confirm that. I find it quite hard to believe they could have pulled it off.
  18. Possibly. Just because something hasn't happened before doesn't mean it can't happen in the future. You have little guides to point you but they're nothing really. I genuinely believe the people investigating are working in the dark too.
  19. Don't really like being an amateur detective in these sort of cases. Humans can't be trusted to give accurate accounts of what happened at all so you'd expect a lot of inconsistencies. If I got asked to recall everything I've done over the past hour there is no way I would answer everything accurately. To make things worse the pressure and panic of a police investigation and media frenzy probably made the accounts even less reliable. To me the only part of the case that you can really get a big clue from is the statistics that show how unlikely an abduction is in these sort of cases. Anything else really is just massive conjecture.
  20. What do people think the chances are of Allan Johnston being back in charge before the end of the season?
  21. Is there any money to bring in another keeper (like Ludovic Roy)? Starting to feel really sorry for the guy when I read about him every week.
