I think PP was saying in the Daily Ranger that he was, understandably, anxious after his unanticipated release by St Johnstone. If what I have heard is true then, as he implies on his interview, the issue has been a medical one and now that it has been identified there is every chance he will kick on and start playing to his potential. Whoever is appointed there is a much more fundamental issue with the club. It is being run as a social community experiment rather than a football club. You only have to look at the CV of the CEO - FFS! It's all very touchy feely but it doesn't deliver tangible results on the football pitch which is all 99% of us care about. Until the profile of the board can be addressed that is a huge problem and, with certain honourable exceptions, no doubt they will not allow themselves to be addressed unless they are bought out of the comfortable sinecures their shareholdings provide them with. Time for the next generation to step up to the plate ( I shall have a word with the missus but as the RFC (now defunct) tax dodger owner once said, "how do you make a small fortune - start with a large one and buy a F'n football club").

As others have said great tackler, tough as nails. Unfortunately he can't pass the ball anything other than sideways. That said he's a really nice guy and I'm sure pretty much all Falkirk supporters wish him all the best.

Sorry to see the Jags come down, but welcome to the jungle anyway. Looking forward to a couple of trips to the west end (plus potentially pay off match). Its going to be pretty competitive with yourselves, Roy McGregor's boys, snecky, DU and ourselves - we are going to be a different proposition next season. There will be some pushovers of course, like Ayr and Scumvermin.
