Could see a Dundee or Dundee United in for him. He is from Aberdeen so perhaps the draw of being nearer home will be a factor

He's not as good, yet, as he possibly thinks he is. Defo would benefit from the rough and tumble of a year in the Championship with us. Hard to see where he goes otherwise.

Me too, over the course of last night & this morning.

As much as I detest BBC Scotland in general, their Championship & League One coverage is fantastic to watch for saddos like myself who love Scottish Football (bigot bros. aside).
The lad that presented the coverage of our game is a breath of fresh air (in either language) and long may he remain out with the clutches of the Scottish Football Media Mafia.

    But Lee Miller was superb!
Okay, clearly a Falkirk fan but called the game correctly when Cove got one back (to 2-1) and rightly predicted the feelings of Mr. McGlynn going into half time.

And Jamie Sweeney came over well at half time too.

    Great to see.

"Sweeney", aye, he got that a bit wrong, unless Swinnie is Sweeney in the Gaelic 🤔

Yesterday we exorcised (talking purely about managers here):

    Latter day Houstie (said reluctantly)

Greaseball 😔😞 (2-27 shots on goal vs QOTS)

    McKinnon

    Dumb and Dumberer

    Cones (0-6 vs QP)

    Holt😞😞 (0-5 vs PT)

Rennie (only wins against bottom two teams)

Someone else can mention all the boardroom stuff.

    It’s a new dawn.

Not fair, I would suggest, on M & M who were pretty unlucky with injuries

To a certain extent but now the big thing with 5 games to go is staying unbeaten for the whole season. Home games should be fine but a tough away game at Hamilton who will be desperate to beat us.

They might be saving themselves for the play-offs 🤣 - let's hope Montrose or Alloa get up

Not to fussed with him signing. It’s clear that he’s a really good shot stopper but work needed for his distribution and commanding his territory. As said he’s young and a mountain of a guy. Wishing him all the best and interesting to see what develops with someone coming in.

I think Nicky is either one for the future and / or a potentially marketable asset

League One is poor but this season's division is a lot worse than the one we won IMO. No Dunfermline or Airdrie who were two of the better teams, Edinburgh who had some cracking results last season are a shambles, Queen of the South are somehow taking the crown of worst ever senior team off of our own John Potter inspired jobbers who came 7th, and the only team who are anywhere close to challenging - Hamilton - are so bad that their fans want the manager gone despite being second. Hopefully it lulls Falkirk into a false sense of superiority and they crash and burn next season!

🤣 I genuinely hope we don't pass like ships in the night. Will be nice to get back to seeing you.

    You guys don't get it.

I'm aware of our problems to date but it has all changed now with your problems.

Our squad will put this title race to the wire.

Don't let it ruin your night? I still have you just marginal favourites.

We were right to turn down Morrison and keep the money for a Championship/ Premiership level player in Rose. Shrewd by the board.

I just hope it's not too late.

Turn down Morrison 🤣🤣 in your dreams sonny.

Guy you should be aiming this at is the balloon who opened his mouth and kept on talking and talking…and talking.

Knowledgeable Accies punters were embarrassed by this pish with only a few daft youngsters reeled in.

I believe your Chairman fully endorsed it. People who aren't quite as smart as they think they are. As you say, embarrassing for most Accies fans.

What happens in terms of relegation/promotion? Would there simply be a play off involving the bottom club this season?

Entirely up to the SPFL to decide. My bet is that they will stagger on to the end of the season ergo the question does not arise. Fans of other cubs should perhaps contribute to ensure their financial survival?

Great well deserved win and vindicates mcglynn putting out our best side. Keeps the winning momentum going and players match fit. 3,000 crowd and semi final means some extra cash in the coffers for January. The stats are pretty incredible re shots, corners etc.

We learnt a couple of things tonight... Hogarth will be first pick goalie and the starting eleven is the players mcglynn trusts, he didn't even want a sub on till the very end as he didn't want to risk changing it. The subs are going to stay subs. Albeit mcginn Ross and Oliver still injured.

    Ross cup-tied

I’ve no doubt managers can have an effect on a signature but I think money influences it much more.

That’s why I would refute claims about players not signing for us due to a turnaround in managers. If they have similar offers elsewhere then these things may come in to effect but I’d imagine whoever offers most will often be the deciding factor on who a player signs for. Would presume that’s why Tumilty signed with Hamilton and not with for us, despite having been with McGlynn previously.

I have it on very good authority that McGlynn's persistence was a big factor in getting Lang in

I had a clear head on view of Lawal's penalty claim.  No way was it a penalty.  I think because he is probably the lightest player on the field by a long way the fair challenge with the defender knocked him over.  Yes it could have been given on a different day but it would have been lucky.  Had it been a more robust player, like Alfie in that challenge he would have probably powered through it and crossed or shot.

I have a blind spot when it comes to Lawal.  To me his close ball control is really poor, is easily dispossessed and he looks like (and regularly does) trip over his own feet at any given time.  He scored a great goal the other week, but I still am very sceptical about his abilities. Maybe in a few years he will mature into a good player but at the moment it is clear, at least to me, why he doesn't start games

Have to say I think his close control is probably his biggest attribute. Gets the ball out of tight spots, very composed under pressure. Not fast though and, as you say, very light.

This is where it all gets messy and hope that my logic makes sense.

If there are no shares left, then the Rawlins potentially can sell the shares with the club getting nowt. If I remember correctly, the club has to agree that sale. However, I am not sure what the legal position is if the Rawlins want to sell and the club refuses to sanction it. There is also the potential that the Rawlins may want to sell to someone who we don't want as a major shareholder in the club.

Now, if the club were to make a new issue of shares available, then the Rawlins position is less problematic. Whoever wants to buy shares need to pay the club cash for them.

Alternatively, maybe they have enough cash that the Falkirk shares are not important and will try and sell at some point in the future if they are worth anything. That may be a veery long way away.....as I've had my shares for decades and they are in reality worth nothing and always have been.

They'll ultimately be diluted out of sight

Mind blowing in terms of writing off 40M. Interesting to see what Rawlins brings to the club with the addition of new investment. Only recently posted about Rawlins, if the deal gets approved I’m sure it will see Rawlins exiting the club.

Huddersfield Town? Hard to see the logic in this. With all due respect to the good people of Huddersfield - great football history but not a big or rich town in English terms - similar population to Falkirk District. Very nice banana shaped stadium as you pass it on the train, and obviously had the wisdom to sign Murray Wallace. And we took Krasniqi. Other than that .....?
