1-1 at HT.
Alston scored for us but from a mate who is down there, says we are playing pretty badly.

Sensible pricing by the club for the upcoming friendly (£10/5) & cup tie (£12/6).

Striker and a Left Back is the target, don't know any names though

Apparently our U20s are playing in a tournament at Spartans this weekend versus the hosts, Livi and that lot from across the Forth. Not seen this mentioned by FFC, unless I've missed it.

Thomas Grant has only just started running/training again and Shepard posted a pic on twitter during the week of his ankle on ice.
Not surprised either didn't play. Not sure about the others though.
Am I right in thinking this is our current squad;
GK
Jamie MacDonald
Graham Bowman
Gregor Amos
DEF
Kieran Duffie
Alan Maybury
David McCracken
Will Vaulks
Peter Grant
Liam Dick
Ryan McGeever
MID
Olu Durojaiye
Tom Taiwo
Blair Alston
Craig Sibbald
Connor McGrandles
Alex Cooper
Luke Leahy
Thomas Grant
FWD
Rory Loy
Kevin O'Hara
Botti Biabi
Scott Shepard
Lewis Small
Crying out for an experienced striker to play alongside Loy. Can see a LB getting signed too.

Looking forward to seeing the new signings.
Rotherham United at home on Fri 18th looking more attractive now.
May even have another 1 or 2 players in by then also.

Brilliant moves in the market by Houston today, obviously been working hard in the background.
A striker and Left Back to come and we are set up nicely.

Pre Season game At Forfar has been called off.
Not surprised mate, ridiculous decision by Holt to arrange it for just over 48hrs after the Woking game and subsequent full day coach trip in between.
Well done Houstie if it was he who saw the light.

from memory it was Coyle, Henry, Ferguson and Tosh! Might be wrong about Tosh though.
Think Hagi was one of the guys from Airdrie too

Peter Houston - Falkirk TV Interview
Fantastic interview, really excited about the new season now.

He seemed a nice enough guy but I didn't shed a tear when he left. Good luck to him tonight though.
It was a big moment for FFC to get the right person in and I'm still not sure if we have. That said, you can't argue with where we are and what we have done so far this season. The board do need to bloody back him though. This league will ruin us if we don't get out of it soon.
A win tomorrow and I actually think we could continue this momentus run for some time.

Only 1 I'm afraid.
Kirk, Craig and Finnigan also 'netted' in a freakishly superb game.
I always thought it was 2. Ah well.
Yeah Finnigan scored from out at the shed touch line.

Dominic Iorfa. That's all I'm saying.
Iorfa scored 2 on his debut so I'd take that on Saturday from big Jessy.

Good to see the U20s getting some more positive results the last 3/4 weeks too. Seems to have coincided with the 1st teams change in attitude/performance also.

Rangers game on Sky with a 12.15 KO

The fact we haven't even seen McCracken in the U20s yet (as 1 if the allowable over age players) I'd be surprised if he's in the squad on Saturday.
Unless he has played in bounce games.

According to the Herald, another Centre Midfielder is still on the agenda to be signed before the Saturday night deadline.
Mark Millar on loan please.

Club have done a superb job on the pitch and it's add on features.

All we are missing now is an East side. Would love a small covered terrace to be honest.
Pipe dream though.....

Ive heard the Mark Millar rumour and would love it to be honest, especially before Tuesday v that lot.
Only striker rumour doing the rounds, a couple of weeks back, was a loan deal for a Norwich forward.

I think it will be a player from Norwich on loan

Was down at the club shop yesterday and was told it was likely that the Main stand was going to be almost all Falkirk fans at games v Rangers this coming season with possibly only 1/2 end sections being given to them (ie what we did for the Dumbartons & Cowdenbeath's of this world). Terrific news if that comes to pass, they did say it wasn't confirmed yet though.
I believe this is on the back of strong ST sales. Houstie effect in full force?
