  1. He does seem jinxed not to score. That said, he does far more in a game than Botti or Shepherd have done in most games. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  2. Whilst it's true we miss Baird & Kerr, we have only faced Hibs once with the pair of them this season yet are unbeaten in all 3 games. If all our boys bring their "A" game to the table, I think we will progress. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  3. Both semi finals are confirmed to be at Hampden and both will be on TV sadly. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  4. I'm an optimist and a realist mixed into 1, bare minimum I'm looking for is a play off spot in the league and a semi final berth in the cup. Both involve us beating QOS and that's a job we should never be fearful of. They may be saying the same about us in all honesty. Re the play offs, of course we want to get there. What else would we be doing on those dates? Twiddling our thumbs waiting for the cup final or worst case waiting for NEXT season to begin. Any income from those games is a side issue and a bonus too. 5. And the rest. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  6. The club are looking at the East side development. I believe it's in conjunction with Falkirk Foundation (Charity arm). Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  7. I'd personally rather win the cup game and then what will be will be regarding the league. A crack at another semi and indeed a final would be excellent. Some Falkirk fans could never see us win the Scottish Cup but promotions have and will come about. That said, the best I thought we could get this season in the summer was 4th and it's still a possibility, even if we lost the league tie. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  8. I don't mind the marketing guys pushing hospitality or sponsorships etc. they are doing they're job and I'd be more annoyed if it was silent on that front. Agree about the lack of football content but should that be up to the marketing guys? I don't think so. There's 3/4 guys who do the ffctv and another 2/3 who do the programme, couldn't that content go on the website too? Or at least a diluted version? Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  9. Yeah, pulled up in training on the Thur/Fri and wasn't risked on Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  10. I really can't see anyone paying cash for Loy this month. I do think he may sign a PCA with someone though unless he signs a new deal at TFS that is. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  11. Good gesture from FFC to pay for the buses and it was a shame that only 1 had taken up the offer to travel. I've often thought in this situation that if the club are happy to pay for buses, organise a few from the stadium. There's many fans who go by car, train or indeed a bus who just aren't running and would certainly travel on a free coach. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  12. If he goes, he goes. I'd like him to stay but he'd be no bigger loss than Farid, Taylor etc. We'll find someone else of similar quality, we seem to always do. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  13. Brechin will need to agree obviously to any reduction but I can see £15/7. Brechin's league prices are £12/6 so can see them wanting more for a higher placed team at home. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  14. I'll take a lower league team at home in the cup every round to the semi to be honest. I want to progress more than landing a seaside team away for a "day out" or a big gun for a potential "pay day". Hopefully we get passed Brechin and then land a Spartans etc. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  15. Will sign on January 1st on loan I'm told. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  16. I'd imagine someone would spend a tenner on a calendar at one of those calendar stalls in shopping centres so may not be too bad in terms of price. £1 goes to Strathcarron from every sale too I think. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  17. Good to see that Falkirk Council have approved the cafe/bar and hospitality lounge application for the 1st floor of the South stand. Great for match days but will also be a good venue for the teams/groups who rent out the pitch/5s pitches too. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  18. I bet the club are hoping for a decent walk up at the gate on Saturday, looking at the ticket website it appears less than 100 have been sold so far for the South stand and around 300 in the West stand. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  19. Phil Roberts was at the U20s match v Hearts on Tuesday night. Or at least it looks like him.... Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  20. My mate got a reply from the club regarding pricing for this weekend. Apparently FFC wanted reduced pricing however CFC could not agree to it and therefore pricing has defaulted under Scottish cup rules to the home clubs lowest priced league adult price. Shame really as was never going to be a huge crowd but will Probobly be pitifully low now. 1500 at the very best. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  21. Those mentioned were retained by Falkirk Stadium Ltd as part of the separation. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  22. With regards the completion of the stadium, I think it is the right thing to do for the long term benefit of the club, especially as we are now 100% located there, training and all. I don't believe for a second the club want to waste money on 000s more seats but to actually use the East side for money generating facilities and dare I say it in hope, a safe standing area. I'd like to see a moderate covered terrace, maybe 1500 or so, with a gym and indoor facility either side of it. You only need to look at Broadwood now to see how they maximised that empty land. Along with the new cafe/bar/lounge being already created on the 1st floor of the South stand the club would finally, other than the 4G pitch start to make money and full use of the stadium. Let's remember we currently see no income from; 5 a side pitches Office rental Westfield Lounge The bulk of income generated from the hospitality lounges. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  23. Sensible, considering the size of supports they are commanding just now. The 3,800 left for us will do just fine. That said, it's live on Alba and a 5.30pm KO which may hit numbers in both ends. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  24. Miller time? Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
  25. Didn't we buy the north stand also through a special loan with the council that we then ended up getting simply handed to us as part of the stadium company debacle? Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril
