  1. Houstie on ffctv tonight saying Ryan Blair is down at Swansea having a medical.
  2. Mehmet to be announced shortly I'd imagine as Bowman is going on loan
  3. Regardless of all the nonsense posted on this thread about bank balances, crowds & stands. The only thing that will matter to Blair Alston is will his bank balance be healthier and will the length of contract be suitable. Playing in the premiership will be a lovely bonus. Look at Jamie MacDonald last season, was offered premier league football but turned it down for a big wage at Falkirk for 1 season. Players look at the wages/package, same as anyone does.
  4. In my time watching Falkirk, about 27 years now, I've probably had more joy watching us in the 1st div/championship. That's more to do with the fact we win more than we lose though. I can think of only a few premier league seasons I enjoyed going to the matches 91/92, 94/95 & 06/07. Selected matches from the other seasons too. As said above, the place to be is the Premier League especially if your not it in. Your enjoyment in that league though is very much dependent on how your fairing.
  5. Adults are £18/£19/£20, Concessions £12, U18s £6 and U12s FREE
  6. Spot on. FFC did not have to pay the remaining £2m owed to the council for the North stand in exchange for the deeds for that stand and forgoing any ownership/rental income from the non football areas of the West stand & 5 a side pitches.
  7. Yep, pretty much confirms my post. You'll notice they only advertise the areas they own/have responsibility for.
  8. Not quite. FFC own main pitch, North stand, South stand, West stand pitch facing facilities (ie seating etc), 85% of the West stand ground floor facilities (Stadium company have an office & there's a private nursery) and 2 car parks. We also own the land in full that the new East stand will be built on. FFC pay no rent to the council at all. What the council own/make money from is: Main car park (the one your referring to & used for the Helix on non match days) Office/Hospitality suites on 1st, 2nd & 3rd floors of West stand. 6 x 5 a side pitches next to the stadium.
  9. From those more knowledgable of the game than you or I, he's acknowledged as being a good full back.
  10. I'm basing it on the fact, he's acknowledged as being a good full back and has a good delivery/strike on him. I think he would improve the starting X1 as would allow Muirhead to go back to his natural and best position of CB ahead of Watson.
  11. Everyone has a team, his is Hibs. He'd be a good signing and would improve the starting X1. Is this confirmed he will be signing? Assume he was sitting with the rest of our squad who weren't stripped?
  12. Was that your dad and Jeff he mentioned in the article? Crunchie is some man.
  13. I always though Millar had a good penalty record? Agree on Loy though, his record was stinking.
  14. See the post above. Couldn't have said it any better.
  15. Thomson is done, end of. Good luck to him but I hope it's nowhere near Falkirk. Unless he's playing for Hibs on Sunday that is.
  16. Houston has been on the radio tonight saying he's all but snapped a young player lighting up the lower leagues. East Fifes Nathan Austin?
  17. Bowman will go out on loan I think once it's known what's happening. The polish keeper could be out for a couple of months so I think it's right we backfill the position.
  18. Any ideas about the trialist? How did he play also?
  19. Notice O'Hara started for the U20s tonight, going by previous times, that would suggest he will be on the bench on Sunday.
  20. No idea what you mean.... Welcome home Conor! :-)
  21. McHugh, Taiwo and Duffie are all back in training and are due to play for the development team in the next week or 2.
