Thanks guys. Not going to lie, I broke down as soon as I stopped talking. Hilly watched as soon as it was out every week & he’d have wanted us to do it this week, but was bloody hard. COYB

Definitely been proved wrong about Oliver, couldn’t see what he brought to the party in the early part of the season but he’s made himself an integral part of the line up and along with the move to Henderson in midfield, he’s been a huge part of our success in recent months.

Ridiculous sending Kimarnock to Inverness on a Scottish Cup Q Final night game.
Can see us being allocated Dunfermline away on the 7th or 8th March now ?
I don’t think we’ll want to play them prior to an important cup tie & we need to both agree on the dates I believe.

And yet they've put the arguably bigger ICT v Kilmarnock game on the Friday. I don't think the reason your game is on the Monday is anything directly to do with viewing figures on either date.
Debatable indeed re choice of fixtures but it is factual that the Monday evening figures are higher than the Friday evening, that comes straight from the BBC. Personally think we are the more attractive tie due to being the lowest ranked team now, which I see you agree on. ICT v Killie has also been on TV in recent years so I’d argue it’s not as appealing for that reason too.

Monday night viewing figures are higher than Friday night games so not too unexpected. It’ll be a big home crowd regardless imho

McGlynn left no stone unturned as you would expect & let Darvel do all the talking and both the players & management looked wired pre game both on route to the stadium apparently & then pre match. This was mentioned on the “Footy Adventures” vlog too out yesterday or the day before.
Loved John’s pre match interview with the BBC too

Assume he’s cancelled his table at the Speakers night then?

Why on earth would Dundee United agree to that?
Rangers did when Kennedy got injured in his first game with us. Not saying United will but has happened before.

Not saying DAFC will collapse like we did although we hope they do but remember we were 9pts clear at the end of March a couple of years back. Anything can happen, loads of football to be played.

Long way to go, they won’t win every game between now & May plus we’ll beat them twice too imho.
But Monday is up first & we need to take care of that lot first.

I find it funny tbh that we are accused of thinking we are better than we are. The reality is we want better for ourselves & aren’t happy to just exist or coast. The same can’t be said for a lot of teams around us and a few in the leagues above.

Can’t say I’m shocked that the bitter, Stenny w****r on that show wants us to get beat. Had no real issues with Stenny (barring them delaying putting the Ochilview roof on we donated to them back in 2003) until he came along but hopefully we pump them silly on Monday & Stenny continue to be L2 jobbers.

We really need to win on Monday. Shut the rest of Scottish football up.
