  1. A bit of excitement and a bit of worry going in to this one. Hope Dom is fit as he adds a lot to the team. Welsh and Sheridan maybe have a point to p[rove hear but I hope they don't get over enthusiastic. Come ont he QP!
  2. Thank you. The article was behind a paywall and I wasn't willing to give the Courier any money. There was nothing on the club website - I knew that P&B would be able to give an answer. On players and eligibility, that's something we excel at
  3. I wonder what the 'technicality was? https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/sport/duncan-ferguson-can-t-sign-son-at-caley-thistle-due-to-a-tec-346488/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook
  4. Yes, maybe it was 'within him' and Callum Davidson managed to get him to take a good look at himself. Whatever happened, he's been great for us since he signed and I wouldn't be disappointed if we kept him beyond the end of the season.
  5. Going on current form it's a win for QP, but going on the recent history of the fixture it's a win for Morton. Normally I would maybe hope for an away draw. It's a difficult one to call but, like supporters of both teams I'm sure, I want a win.
  6. In the SPFL 'Team of the Week' two weeks in a row. Clearly he wasn't that bad - maybe it was "style of play"..
  7. It's do-able. Inverness, Dunfermline, Airdrie, Ayr should be points for you and a draw at Raith is possible. But with the way your results have been going recently I agree it is a bit of a task. Good luck.
  8. I agree that predictions are pie in the sky stuff especially this season as we have had some completely bonkers results. It's useful only in that it can get a discussion going as we need to start somewhere - I was wanting to set a different point of view from @mcjameos.
  9. The two Caley lads that have come to Queen's Park (Welsh and Sheridan) have both turned out to be great assets that have helped turn round the fortunes of the club. I wonder how the results at both clubs would have changed had the transfers not happened.
  10. Just for debate, I've had a look at current positions and then the fixtures and come up with a not dissimilar end result. I still see Dundee United winning it but pushed hard by Raith the two fighting another draw next week to keep our interest going. Raith could drop points to Partick at home and Morton away. Airdrie are doing well just now and could continue this trend and finish in the final playoff spot although Dunfermline, Morton and QP will push them all the way. However, I think that Dunfermline and Queen's Park finish behind Airdrie on equal points with QP edging it on goal difference (or goals for). Morton just behind to keep things interesting but clearly these three should be safe. The bottom three are the same as just now. Inverness with a dreadful home record need to (and could) get their act together otherwise Ayr will claim the last safe spot. Arbroath, I think, are doomed and I can't see where any points might come for them - but I'm sure they'll not stop fighting.
  11. The scoreline doesn't reflect the dominance of the team yesterday. That was a masterful performance, apart from not scoring more goals with the chances we created! Well done, all!
