On the good side if you usually go short distances and can charge at home, you can pick up a second hand bargain that'll do the job. Longer journeys might require a considerable amount of planning and patience. I'm thinking more 5 year old Nissan Leaf than a Tesla though, the insurance for a Tesla is huge because if the battery gets damaged because it's a bit rainy it gets written off and the warranty doesn't cover it.
Aye sorry assumed you meant buying new. Used electric cars are a great buy at the moment. Have you considered a Renault Zoe?

Anyone gone electric?
Decided that if my insurance is going to be ridiculous anyway with a 7 year old car, I might as well get something newer and looking at going electric.
Looking for something quite big, with a decent range. Tesla Model Y so far is the winner but open to consider others cause Musk is a p***k but I don't see any that really come close for the charging convenience and range.
Biggest issue with going electric is the eye watering depreciation.

Quite the turnover in players from 4 years ago. Actually liked Famewo as a player.
Playing for Sheffield Wednesday now. Junior Morias is with Notts County

Move to America and many states don't even inspect cars these days if you're outside a major metropolitan area. The result is all the shiteboxes other people on the road are driving.
Wow, I would have thought in murrica- the land of litigation, that driving an unroadworthy car wouldn't be the smartest strategy.

Say we did get a European spot, how much extra money would that bring to the club?
Prize moneyFor the 2022–23 season, group stage participation in the Europa Conference League is awarded a base fee of €2,940,000. A victory in the group pays €500,000 and a draw €166,000.

Met him in a pub that he owned in Renton, Dumbartonshire. You had to be seriously hard to run a pub in Renton! Also played for Third Lanark IIRC. What about Connor Sammon for Killie? Remember hearing the Killie fans shouting " Feed the fish". For St.Mirren, has to be Charlie Adam. Nae pace but very, very gifted. Remember him scoring against us from the halfway line when playing for Dundee. That goal and the one Zerouali scored from a free kick were the only goals where I witnessed St.Mirren fans applauding an opposition goal.

Miovski looked onside for me. If he was off it must have been by the proverbial baw hair. Not understanding the angst about Motherwell's disallowed goal. The two handed push bowled the defender into the keeper knocking him over. Undoubtedly a foul.

Now there's an example of a manager being honest in an interview.
Must be in the running for the one liner of the season.

Kwon is an outstanding player.
Absolutely, it was his lung bursting run to get back that was enough to put Beck off in that Dundee chance

It certainly looked as if Carson was relying on Olusanya being offside. It appeared he just let him place the ball past him because he was offside and assumed it'd be called back for the freekick. Get it fucking up him.
Maybe so, looking at the highlights, before shooting Olusanya looked to the far post then slotted it near post.

As a 50th birthday present someone gave me a single 2 inch square ceramic tile. I'm guessing the box of cadbury's favourites was too expensive.

I’ve recently finished Slow Horses and Dead Lions, books 1 and 2 from the Slough House series by Mick Herron. Enjoyed both and just started the third one Real Tigers.
The TV adaption is worth a watch as well. Worth watching for Gary Oldman alone.
Loved the Slow Horses TV adaptation. The adventures of a group of shit spies. Gary Oldman is his usual brilliant self.

Hadn’t actually realised how poor these highlights were - missed the re-take of our penalty.
That foul on Grieve, fittingly agricultural.

You can buy tickets at the ground. The ticket office is open for a couple of hours before the game.
Was just in the shower and thinking to myself, 'could we do a Leicester?' I know that's ridiculous and is a bit like fantasising about winning the lottery, but I'm hoping to cling on to that dream for as long as possible.*
*Cue the 'St. Mirren fans are nuts, they've won two games and think they're going to win the league.'
Thanks very much.

Here on holiday at the moment, just checking if it is still possible to buy tickets at the ground for tomorrow's game or is it online only.?

You forgot Dougie Ross giving Killie a goal against us that didnt cross the line. Not that i've got a book or anything of all the shite things that wee p***k has done.
That decision was one of the worst ever. It was impossible to tell from where he was positioned if it had crossed the line. There was literally a sea of bodies blocking his view. Dundee game, everybody can clearly see the ball has crossed the line. Even with VAR no goal. Sometimes you can't make it up

I can tell you for a fact that a “radar target” is not always a radar return or a target. The more processing done on radar signals the more problems we had with false returns, misplaced reflections, incorrect data correlation, etc. The current radar systems in use most often use a mosaic algorithm that tends to generate spurious signals that can behave in a quite convincing manner. It’s really not far from the realm of possibility that the faraway plane theory could mesh with an anomalous target return…but, by the same token, the opposite is equally true.
A faraway plane that they locked onto and filmed with their on board gun camera skimming just above the ocean?

The first three pelanties were truly some of the worst/funniest you’ll ever see. To be fair though the last three England ones were crackers.
I take it you didn't watch the Sweden/USA penalties. More misses than hits for both teams. The winning penalty is the most bizarre and hilarious ever.

Third billing on site after free entry to NZ U17 game and WWC crowds on track to average over 24,000 in NZ but first one with a video.
Was at the USA v Portugal group match held in Auckland. 42,956 attendance. Higher than the opening game featuring NZ. Shame that the game was a 0-0 shitfest.

I think it's fair to say that there's not been conclusive evidence though.
I will say that I like that it's a topic of wide discussion, even if I remain a sceptic. Quite enjoyed this article:
I remain open minded. See my previous post re size and age of the universe. Good article trashing anyone that isn't a sceptic. What amuses me about sceptical articles are their alternative explanations are more often than not hilarious. See "the navy pilots could have mistaken it for a faraway plane". Whatever it was, the air traffic controllers sent Fraver and his wingman from their original position to intercept the object picked up on their (carrier's) radar. They locked their gun camera onto it skimming just above the ocean. Faraway plane? If it is secret advanced technology then they certainly like to mess with the U.S. Navy. When Fraver landed the carrier air traffic controllers said they had multiple similar contacts over the preceding weeks. Fraver was angry that they didn't get a heads up from them.
