  1. Here's the self-same Tory c**t talking sense. Again. You do get the sense that the Nat n Green attempts at social engineering in Scotland are coming to an end and the sooner these freaks are put in their place the better it will be.
  2. "Charles will be 'last King of Scots' says Alex Salmond" https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/charles-last-king-scots-says-29873733?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar Except we know - from the CoR of 1689 - that the title was 'King of Scotland' and that the last one was William of Orange. Nats and history, eh?
  3. Sit doon, roaster. The women's threads are generally cant-free zones so please don't pollute it with your ignorant nonsense.
  4. Big Jen Beattie making her auld man proud here:
  5. I respect this. Few posters know 'bog standard' as you do.
  6. Allowing the staff to interpret the Equality Act is just a piece of nonsense.
  7. Thanks! My youngest has only ever been to Amsterdam and I spent too much time in Eindhoven selling software to NXP Semiconductors so a new Dutch city would be a treat.
  8. It's 'fringe theatre' - a term E'burgh gave to the world. In the late 70s - when I started going - it was variously shite, avant-gard, lewd, nude, dull AF or bewildering. Now and then you unearthed a diamond. But that was what 'fringe' was. You went to 4 performances and were lucky if one was decent. All 4 may well have been offensive (we hoped). Scroll on to 2023 and at a fringe event - In an alt-comedy club - the staff are scared that a middle-aged, lesbian, human rights lawyer and MP may say hurty words.
  9. Where do the Dutch lassies normally play their home games, Marten? My 20 yo - having been a footy nut at primary school - is wanting to go to more games and a trip to Eindhoven or A'dam to watch Scotland would be fun.
  10. Some game at The Emirates last night and I was sorry for the Gooners Girls who put heart and soul into it. Great to see Big Jen Beattie roll back the years and equalise with a cracker of a header. Not to be, though.
  11. He is such an annoying wee fucker. If we don't beat 'them' on Thur I will be incandescent.
  12. Went to The Emirates with my youngest, her pal from Primary and her Arsenal-supporting auld man yesterday evening. Great game for the neutral but a cruel way for Arsenal to go out. A couple of rows in front of us sat a family - maw, paw and two weans - in the green and grey hoops with the young ones being FKWs. Driving back to leafy South Bucks, the Gooner dad and I agreed it was odd behaviour whilst the lassies thought it was ok to wear your team's colours at any game you like. So, my QQ is: If you went to a UWCL match in London would you wear your team's replica jersey or would you just be normal?
  13. Definitely 'group of death' stuff but some great matches to watch.
  14. Another to add to the list of, 'scenic grounds of Australia'. Certainly beats Cumbernaud! So is this the top flight of Aussie football? It looks SWPL standard.
  15. Didn't see the game but watched the highlights. Sickening. We won't even get a CL spot now.
  16. 7 for Fri http://quizoftheday.co.uk/2228 Note to @SlipperyPI'm off for the bank holiday - back on Monday. If I'm in a play off the answer is 8,284.
  17. Aye. Thanks to @TxRover for correcting me. As Little Mattie said when La Boeuf saved Rooster Cogburn's life in True Grit: "Hooray for the man from Texas":
  18. I see the Uni of E'bra is clamping free speech. Long time (40ish years) since I was at Uni but we always welcomed debate on any topic.
  19. Speaking of this...I see the GreenWits are trying to squirm out of making a baws of the DRS. Sleekit wee fannies who should never have been near government. But then if your entire political schtick is to ensure a chap from Eyemouth has to cross an international border and pay in a different currency to go for a coffee with his sister in Berwick then you're so fucked up that none of this matters:
  20. Poor stuff, A90. In English, we'd use the apostrophe: "Wings' dad"
  21. I was in Bath catching up with my wee yin and helping her structure her Honours dissertation. Glad I came back in time to find you using the word "edgelord'" though. Very amusing.
  22. Given who they're selecting from it's not fair to expect much from Nat MSPs. Even so, Colin from Accounts is a bit of a dick. He didn't know. Oh but wait...he did know after all: In other news, it looks like the Westminster bromance is back on. As much as the always immaculately tailored Bunter enjoying a pint of Unionist Porter can have a bromance with the 'dresses like a 20-something in ill-fitting suits' Stephen Flynn quaffing an Aperol Spritz.
