  1. I give you Donald, trump, not only the Cvnts' - cvnt, but unbelievably petty with it.
  2. That is a good article on it, but my problem was that Biggar was standing relatively still. It was probably muddied by the fact it was a reverse pass, so the ball comes out of the back of his hand, but his hands are moving forwards. Highlight for me was probably watching Duhan tear-up, about what Scotland means to him. I almost blubbed!
  3. Am I the only one that thinks Biggers pass to Dyer for the butchered try just before half-time, was forward? Nobodies mentioned it but I'm convinced it was.
  4. Adams tackle is a red herring. He tries to tackle it's nowhere near the head, play on. Yellow the correct call for Turner, but how the fvk is North back on.
  5. I've been in the same pub as Martin Johnson, you cannot believe how big he is! Honestly, he's built like Herman Munster. Head the size of a Jersey cow, hands like snow shovels, just a huge man with obvious agricultural power. I remember meeting Al Kellock and thinking he was a big unit (much bigger than he looked on the telly) but nothing like Johnson.
  6. Ireland just don't make mistakes. It's just a physical onslaught from minute one till the end. They're showing why they're number one in the world. France simply out-muscled and out-worked.
  7. Imagine being able to replace Beirgne (sp) with Henderson! Simply ridiculous!
  8. Also the Irish pundits can f**k right off! Ireland weren’t brave going for the try. They were in prime field position v 14.
  9. Good game, I thought Barnes used the Johnny Wilkinson v Scotland video refereeing, but if I’m honest the benefit of the doubt should have gone to Lowe for an astonishing effort. Dorris has been immense and first receiver at the breakaway was unbelievable.
  10. I thought Barnes got that just about right.
  11. As opposed to this one that they actually rated (shudder emoji).
  12. Ha ha Darvel must be shiiiiiiiiiit they only scored one.
  13. Do you think the football monitoring board have cottoned on yet to how shit we are?
  14. Completely agree, I hated last seasons team more than any other I can remember.
  15. Yip there's probably some parcel that wasn't delivered or skirting board not painted, because those selfish Darvel basterds were too busy scoring v us! That in itself should be grounds for at least a rematch if not expulsion. On the flip-side. They have uncovered a gang of wage-thieves that have been plaguing the North East of Scotland! So... er... swings and roundabouts?
  16. I'm hoping 10MWTM will say there is a >50% chance that Aberdeen will still win it!
  17. Back in 2000ish, I met Uncle Ebbe and Dave Cormack (vice chair at the time I think). After a few isotonic lagers, found out that Aberdeen were brassic/skint/penniless, and the bank had said 'no more!' We'd just lost David Rowson to Stoke (who were in the third tier, League 1 now) and it was made clear that we couldn't compete financially with them. Wiggy had to underwrite a share issue, and belts needed tightened. Uncle Ebbe was philosophical and said that his focus had to be bringing through youth and finding young talent elsewhere. Dave, didn't show any signs that he was 'championship manger' obsessed in those days, but he seems to have gone the whole nine-yards now. However shortly after he did resign and head back to the U.S. full time. I had and still do have a lot of time for Uncle Ebbe. He was working on a shoestring and if nothing else I got to see a certain Cruyff turn! Yours, nostalgia's not what it used to be. aDONis
  18. I fekking love this thread. You could be making up all the stats and probabilities and I'd still lap this inane quirky shit up! Yours, easily impressed (hence my love for Aberdeen) aDONis
  19. "To sclaf" the the act of making a right Goodwin of a shot!
  20. I would say not paying inheritance tax on the estate is a differentiator, but that's probably just me... Oh and very few people inherit the right to get 'saved' as part of a national anthem. Oh, oh and very few inherit a publicly funded cunty boat.
  21. I used to have the old feasibility study from about 15/20 years ago (lost it serveral PCs ago). But I recall back then, there was a note that basically said, that building nearer the beach (certainly nearer than Kingswells that is), opened up a risk of requiring significantly more substantial foundations than building 'inland'. Whether that accounts for the differences in the numbers being bandied about, I don't know. I might over Xmas take the chance to look at the latest proposals. Cards on the table, I do have a worry that oor Dave's ambition and how realistic it is and how much risk he's willing to burden the club with. Yours, hemmin sit-doon! aDONis
  22. I have to say, that I thought England looked pretty turgid, this autumn. I couldn't understand the Smith, Farrell, Tuilagi combination. They are all cracking players, but Smith's elan, is blunted by shuffling a ball to Farrell who is no line break threat at 12. Which in turn means that Tuilagi is blunted as either being the obvious runner every pass goes to, or even worse, is used as a kick chaser. If you're going to play the power game (which it looked like England were trying to do), then (IMHO) drop Smith, play Farrell at 10 and Tuilagi at 12 as a modern day Jamie Roberts and have Slade in at 13 (who I rate very highly). No defender could afford to ignore Tuilagi on a charge, even as dummy runner, so creating gaps. England have so much talent at their disposal, but have (again IMHO) lacked ambition when using it. On the plus side, after year and years of belittling Russell, most of my mates have come round to the 'he's a fvukkin genius' way of thinking. Finally, I think Jones is a great coach and a 73% win record is not to be sniffed at. Yours aDONis
