  1. Best Scotland women's performance that I can remember.  Dominant for the best part of 30 mins then somehow seven nil down after 31, they didn't panic and clawed their way back.

Skeldon at hooker was simply magnificent and easily player of the match.  One squint throw apart, she was awesome, great carries, turnovers, tackles and tough scrummaging.  How she managed 70+ mins was incredible!

Mattison (sp) at scrum half kept the tempo going very well.

Fair play to Italy, they too tried to run the ball, but were just outpowered and outplayed (the score flattered them IMHO).

I said, last 6N that I thought this team was coming onto a game, but they've exceeded all my expectations so far.

    I absolutely love watching them.

The guy filed lawsuits against various people about this conspiracy. In court documents he alleges Nicola Sturgeon was involved.

In fairness he wasn't far off on crypto being a scam.  Not sure I would set myself on fire over it though*.

You must live in a cave then. The story has been at the front of every news site since it came out. The kids are also the double of William, no-one could fail to notice.

In fairness to Soapy FFC, I don't know the names of the kids either.  One is called George and one is called Charlotte (?), the other escapes me.  I think you'll find that if you don't want to participate (or in my case actively avoid where I can) in the whole 'posh family from magic vagina' circus, then it can be done (to a greater or lesser extent).

So I know there is some hoo-ha about an edited picture, but I can't be ersed to divest much time in it.  Is it news*

*I understand the irony of having bothered to post about an item/issue I'm not interested in, but the main thrust of my point is you don't have to live in a cave to not know much about the pseudo-dramas of the royal family.

Everything must be really hunky dory in Scotland if the SNP can waste all their parliamentary time on a conflict happening on a different continent that we're not even taking part in?

I'll say it again, and the idiot parade can get down voting again, this is just playing politics to try and stiff labour and it's failed again

    2-0 to the STARMER

Fvk me, are you so linear, that you can't walk and chew gum at the same time?

What a nonsense statement, give yersel' a fvkkin shake.

  5. Hurrah!  We're getting Sir Kier Thatcher, a middle manager of the  Holborn branch.

He's a spineless knvt.  I note that the human rights lawyer, hasn't uttered a word about the ICJ judgement that many of Israel's actions “appear to be capable of falling within the provisions of the [Genocide] Convention.”.  Funny that!

    His 10 pledges wiped.

Bankers bonuses - Yip, go ahead, take on all sorts of short term risky deals, fill yer boots, what's the worst that could happen.

2 child benefit cap - Fvk you, you scrounging wasters!

Nope, we're not going to ask businesses to pay more tax (because they've told us they don't like it).

Dear USA - I love you so much that anything you say, I'll support (including bombing some poor country, 'cos... stuff).

Imagine the change we could have had in this country, and now look at what we're going to get!

  6. I suspect even a 6-3 Republican Supreme Court (when it gets there) will baulk at letting Biden assassinate Trump carte blanche.

Can you imagine if you could do whatever the fvk you wanted, if you can get a gang of only 34 people to support you (and vote against impeachment).

It is mental stuff Trump is asking for.  What's amazing is that his press conference is all about curbing Biden's power, which is the exact opposite of what they are arguing for inside the court room!

I'm sorry, when were we close to admin?

This is a tale I've told on here many times.

Back in 2000/2001 (?). I spoke to Dave Cormack (yes that Dave Cormack).  I was moaning about David Rowson going to Stoke.   Dayta-Dave explained that we'd been put on a very short leash by the banks and that we had to take immediate steps to

    a)  Get back within a previously agreed debt/equity ratio (If I remember rightly oor-Wiggy stumped up circa £3m from a rights issue around that time) [This was in addition to the 1995 share issue].

    b)  Take immediate steps to cut our recurring losses and cash drain (I think we were losing between £1.5 & £3m p.a. but I might be wrong)

This was all before we stopped being publicly listed.

As a side note, one of the weird things AFC had to (as a listed company) was to make a public statement denying the rumour that Fergie was about to be  recruited.

I don't think people really appreciated at the time, how close we came to 'doing an Old-Rangers'.

    I completely agree with this;

Here's my manifesto for the game

    1)  Lineout; get a lineout clock going from when ball goes out of play, maybe 30 seconds if from a penalty, 40 if opposition put it out.

    2) Injured players; rolling replacements at set pieces but restricted to set piece and first phase of play.  After that, replacements are out of the game unless made permanent.

    3)  Reduce the number of substitutions

    4)  Allow deviation in line when defending box kicks, but no arms, grabbing or shoulder charges

    5) Get TMOs the fvck out of making calls unless for the most agregious offences, punching, gouging etc.  Other than that, they only get involved with what the referee has asked them to look at.

    6) Scrum; one re-set then free kick or penalty at referees discretion.

    9) Kick at goal reduced to 45 seconds

    10)  Maximum caterpillar of one at ruck
