  1. I agree but, for me it was the way it 2as done, I won't go into it all again that doesn't help anything. Successive SFA spl spfl sla etc etc over the years have been involved in one clusterfuck after clusterfuck and clubs and fans have just had to lump it (cadette gate aside). Happy to see the over paid walloper being refused entry. Even if it is school boy pettiness.
  2. When we signed o'ware ihad 2 Morton supporting work mates who were gutted to see him go, gave a glowing report so I was surprised he wasn't better than he was. It's a good point you make re his pairing with, bar a few exceptions, a clusterfuck of a defender in McGinty. McKenna was/is a centre half so perhaps he will be in McCall's plans for playing in the centre.
  3. Saw that this morning vinnyjag. Look forward to hearing it. I'm hoping there will be some more detail other than his thoughts/opinion. Details of who drove the decision, who supported the decision. Not that it matters anymore, to me anyway, just nosey, would like to know who and why.
  4. During the summer he was on sportsound most Tuesday evenings and when he was asked (numerous times) for his opinion on what happened to us, hearts, stanraer and Falkirk, brora and kielty, he was consistently un his stance, that it wasn't appropriate at that time. That he had his own personal thoughts and that at some point he would "have my say", but that was not the right time. No doubt in my mind he will be talking about what happened at the end if last season and how things were concluded. Personally I'm interested to get his point of view being our manager but that's just genuine noseyness on my part. It's not going to change anything and although some of us will keep a chip on our shoulder, I suspect as many have moved on. McCall doesn't strike me as the type to bad mouth another colleague/fellow manager so I don't think it will be about Caldwell. Probably be about other clubs, the spfl, the sfa as bodies and not about individuals. Be interesting to hear/read, whatever it is he has to say.
  5. Of course I amn't wanting us to lie down. It was toung in cheek and at the wind up ffs.
  6. I would gladly see us lie down to stuff it to fuckirk but sometimes when key players are dropped the fringe grab their chance, then again sometimes not. Good luck in the play offs.
  7. Loving this downwards spiral for this shower. I used to be ambivalent towards the Ton and liked their style under McGraw, similar character to the great Lambini, but after reading some of that melt Vikings posts, am delighted to watch their shitfest.
  8. Believe me relegation will NOT be a "good thing" for a club mortons size. L1 is a viciously competitive league. There is a sheet of paper between the full and part time teams. Even forfar who are down have had some crazily good performances. The part time players commitment is unquestionable and your club will be the scalp everyone wants, for the 1st season down anyway. Look at the state we were in the first chunk of this season. I believe if there had been no 2nd football lockdown, we would have continued to drift towards the bottom of the table and might have been too far behind after the new year to do anything other than stave off relegation to L2. If a club the size if ours they need to bounce straight back up at first time of asking or run the risk of many years of oblivion. Just ask airdrie, clyde, Falkirk. I wouldn't bet against Falkirk, unless they get their shit together, being in a relegation dog fight next season. Re building has to be from a position of strength and not a continuous downward spiral in L1 and 2.
  9. See you on the way past throbber Remember to wave, it's only polite
  10. and "touch me" would probably be a lyric not allowed anymore.
  11. He was a swimmer before being an actor. What were Falkirk before they were a football team?
  12. I'm gonna need medical assistancemighty Montrose pip Fuckirk to the play offs?
  13. Can't believe we only got 5. Mon the mighty Montrose
  14. See my last reply. f**k all to do with conjuring, murnae a magician, just think in a final you'd beat Morton who are shite.
  15. what's ridiculous. If Falkirk were playing Morton next week in a play off final, despite how you are playing I think you would beat them. Simple as that.
  16. And yet, I fing myself fancying you if you get through to play ton. All through last season, pre covid, and for much of the first part of his truncated season, Thistle were gash. Poor control, poor delivery into the box, poor passing, poor tackling but at no time did I see the players look like they had chucked it as seemed with falkirk on Thursday nights game. Only player trying was Morrison. As fan I can forgiven most things but not effort or commitment cos sometimes that alone can take a team over the line. Genuinely, I hope Falkirk get it together and make it up but unless holt magically changed the attitude it unlikely.
  17. You horrible wee smelly poisonous wee fifer. Love it.
  18. Perhaps the poster is suggesting that the level of support shown to the club prior to this meltdown by fans and their dedication through funding and pre covid, match attendance counts for being deserving of better. Just check the level of Falkirk fan interest/input on this site.
