The Famous Aberdeen - Season 2022/23
Apache Don replied to a topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
A very happy 'top of the league' day to all the Dons -
Whenever I see that date, I think of this - ''He who would act against the free existence of his own nation and people, is of no worth.'' Goyathlay (Geronimo) Bedonkohe Apache 1872. A wonderful quotation, which I will soon proudly have as a tattoo. So much more subtle than ''f**k off unionist b*****ds.''

Well fucking hello there! It was freezing in that hole - I forgive you Div - but hey, great to be back. The Apache are gathering and we will be near you very soon. Now I'm just going to have a wee refresher on what's being happening in my absence, which may take a couple of hours. Btw those of you who voted no in the Sept referendum, should now put me on ignore - it's best all round believe me - and I'll reciprocate once I've identified you (scum that you are). ETA: Be honest now, for as sure as nothing stinks as fowl as a Comanche squaw's armpit, I'll find you out.

Is McInnes still on holiday? Where's our new LB & striker/attack-mid? -
It is possible. I did so and it was also Rangers that I deserted. My father, Uncles and friends from school were all Rangers fans, so it was just expected of me and that is how it generally is, with all clubs. I reckon most people support the team their father supports, or did initially and I bet there are loads of Rangers and Celtic fans who were taken to see the like of Thistle, St. Mirren, Kilmarnock etc by their father but when old enough to go on their own, chose one of the OF. My own boy apparently supports Liverpool (though he's only been to see them twice) and I was taking him to Pittodrie since he was 8. Anyway I and 2 of my pals (one of them a Celtic fan) just decided we didn't like the baggage of the OF and started to follow Partick Thistle. We were all 16 at the time and only just getting used to making our own decisions I suppose. I only spent one season as a Jag before moving North to stay with my Mother, 1977 if I remember correctly. Aberdeen were the nearest senior club at the time and my Mother's hubby was a season ticket holder, so that was that, a Don ever since. I don't know how old Daso is but I would imagine it to be a tougher decision as an adult than it was for me as a teenager. I would guess he's still quite young. I cannot envisage a circumstance where I would chose not to support Aberdeen. His reasoning though, looks quite sound and understandable. Apologies for those that have heard this already but the new guy expressed an interest.

Is it safe to say we haven't signed Boyd and Shinnie then? -

Where are you hearing that? Karl Fletcher saying Shinnie a done deal. Haven't seen any reports on Shinnie or Boyd. ETA:- I'd take both in a heartbeat though. -

Let's hope oor Dereck hasn't convinced himself that left-back is Considine's best position. -
What actually happened, was the case against fell to bits when it was pointed out to SPL law team, that the rules did not allow for retrospective action on improper player registration, outwith the current season. The players' registrations had to be challenged in the relevant season. In other words, although there was no doubt cheating had occurred, no action could be taken unless they were caught at the time of the offence. Therefor LNS had no option but to rule accordingly. Essentially, they got off with a wee slap due to a technicality. A bit like getting off with a criminal offence because the crucial evidence had been obtained outwith proper procedure. A fkg technicality. Everyone knows they were guilty as charged.
