  1. Cumnock keeper Ally Semple sent off, Pollok miss resulting penalty
  2. In fairness the only person complaining is the OP, who by his own admission is new to the juniors. Most others here seem to appreciate what a great job Kennie is doing .
  3. It's a fair point, but most clubs prefer to have those matches scheduled on the early season Wednesday evenings where possible.
  4. Why would they get half the gate money for a league match?
  5. Midweek on neutral grounds. Ask home clubs to give up matchday income and pay extra pitch hire and reduce crowds by making it an away game for both sets of fans. Apart from that it's a great idea.
  6. Play the games. Christmas finished yesterday, New Year is five days away.
  7. Sorry to hear this. I remember visiting Grant Street in our one adventure in the Scottish Cup in 2014 and we had a great day out. Hurlford fan's still mention the warm welcome we received. Best of luck with the repairs. Hope the damage isn't too bad.
  8. Mate, I think if you contact the SJFA, they might email your availability to club secretaries which might be more productive. Good Luck.
  9. Well done the Hoose. Best result of the day for me
  10. Don't know for sure, but doubt it costs as much to sponsor the wee cup as the big cup, but they still get more than their fair share of draws to host. Much prefer the way the West is done now taking it to member clubs.
  11. Sponsor a cup which has three games and regularly get to host the draw for the junior flagship. That looks like a decent deal to me.
  12. Decent cup tie at Blair Park today. I didn't see most of the first half, but talking to others it was 50-50. Ex-Ford man Slick Marks hit the post five mins after the break, but it took a penalty to break the deadlock when Taz McKenzie was hauled down. Liam Caddis converted. A towering Chris Roberston header set up Ross Fisher to blast home a second; and a suspiciously offside looking Squib McKenzie made it three. Nice to get the benefit of the doubt for a change. Glad to be in the hat; and look forward to meeting the Chookies another twice in the league this season.
  13. Yip. 2pm. We are going earlier at 1pm at St. Ants, but it was originally 2pm.
