Last year the play offs favoured the championship team. Including the play off games against Raith, Dundee only played 29 league games before playing Killie, who had to play 38 games. One team was fresh whilst the other was running on fumes.
Only one player was signed that is not a loanee. A further 4 loan players were brought in and we lost Hendry who went back to SJ. Polworth was loaned out to Dunfermline.
I think you will find that Killie have cash in the bank and indeed made another profit last season. If it’s so easy to win the cups then why has Ayr never managed it. In fact no Scottish cup final has ever saw an Ayr team participating in it.
So if you win the title this year you won't accept the cup as its not a "major trophy" and it won't be in your list of honors?????
It won’t even come close to being an honour. It’s a means to an end and that’s all it will ever be. It would mark the end of our failure over the last two years. E
We would get the same trophy but there is no comparison to the two achievements. We were the CHAMPIONS of Scotland when we won it. If we win it this season we will be the best of the dross.
