Since the lockdown began Mrs Meister has painted the garden fence a rather fetching Harvest Gold, painted the downstairs toilet and has now almost finished painting all the woodwork on the stairs. Whilst this has been going on I have been pretending to work from home. The achievement is that so far I have got away with it. Tomorrow more working from home for me, more painting for Mrs Meister.

I am going to put a beer in every room in the house and then go for a pub crawl.

My employer "lends" me the money to buy an Annual Season ticket. On my first day of working from home I went to the station I bought my season ticket from to get the balance refunded, it had just over three months to go. The refunded was in my account within a couple of days. My employer will continue to take the monthly repayments from my salary which seems fair enough.

So come April I can tell Levein to GTF, and when he gets there to fck off a bit more then?
