This is one for the Travel Forum but I would like a quick reply, so I'm calling on all you Skyscanner experts.

Is it possible to book a return flight ticket which returns to a different destination. e.g. Milan to New York- New York to Edinburgh using one ticket?

    Yes.  It is labelled "Multi-City"

We've had some fun with individual songs being awful, but this is for the groups or individuals who have made a successful career out of absolute garbage. We need to have some kind of chart success metric here or no doubt the thread would be swamped by talentless trust-fund kids who've never needed to work, so have spent their life noodling away to a vanishingly small hipster audience.

Let's be honest, the answer is the Black Eyed Peas. From their music as a group, through to Fergie's solo career, down to will.i.am's noises for himself or others, it's hard to imagine that anyone else has achieved so much success from such poor (and frequently lazy) output. A living testament to the theory that mankind is a species that's beyond saving.

I got a feeling you could be right about that one.

  3. "I want to hold your hand", "Help", "Girl", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "All you need is love"  and "Across the Universe" are all written and sung by the same person.

"Can't buy me love", "Yesterday", "Eleanor Rigby", "Penny Lane" and "Let it be" are also written and sung by another person in the same group.

"I need you", "If I needed someone", "While my guitar gently weeps", "Something" and "Here comes the sun" are all written and sung by yet another person in that group.

If you like, "Yellow Submarine", "A little help from my friends" and "Octopus' Garden" are all sung by the fourth person in that band.

If you go to see a Beatles Tribute Act, you will likely see what seems to be four shows that are actually just one show representing the music of one band.  Furthermore they all take turns singing instead of just one person having to do most if not all of the singing.

That is why the Beatles would get my vote.

It's a bit odd that he's not allowed to live in the same house as his wife, and his co-accused. I haven't heard of that before in bail conditions.

    Odd.  DUP.

Are you sure you got that right?

  5. The Sinatra/Willis connection continues.  The Studio was contractually obliged to offer the lead role in Die Hard to 70 year old Sinatra.  Thankfully he turned it down.

Obviously this should be "I didn't realise they were NOT in it" thread.  So I will also mention a Russian Ballerina who had had enough of humiliating roles where people smeared ice cream on his face.  Push a man too far, I would say.

Alternatively, there'll be a unity candidate who promises to leave the ECHR, bring back capital punishment for paedos and illegals, and dismantle the welfare state to reduce tax. They'll know that they probably won't manage it all, but the amount of votes they'll get will be terrifying, especially from groups that would be negatively affected.

Maybe it'll be Nigel Farage, although he'll have to win an election where more than 20% of the electorate turn up first.

Capital Punishment for Loitering would probably achieve all these things in one go.

The ECHR would throw us out.  Paedos, Illegals, the workshy, anyone claiming welfare, anyone using the NHS instead of being at work.

Sounds like a winner to me.  😀

I always pick up money if it's on the ground, as little as 1 baht.

I even dropped 5 baht-10p at the garage a few weeks ago and it fell into a shallow drain with a grill.

The pump attendant saw this and went and got a guy to remove the grill so I could get my cash back.

I can buy 10 litres of drinking water for that amount.

How much did you tip the attendant for helping you out?

  8. No actual cinema experience will ever compare with taking the bus between Glasgow and Inverness in the days of Video Recorders.

As soon as the bus was about to leave the station, the driver would start the video.  Occasionally it might be a film I would be happy to watch but often it was the same video again and again and again and again.

I got to recognise "The Adventures of Grizzly Adams" within the first five seconds.  It was absolute torture.
