  1. Hampden it is: Queen's Park to Return to National Stadium Next Season - Queen's Park Football Club (queensparkfc.co.uk)
  2. Cove application here: 220725/DPP | Erection of 2 temporary covered spectator stands | Cove Rangers Football Club Balmoral Stadium Wellington Circle Aberdeen AB12 3JG (aberdeencity.gov.uk)
  3. I wasn't sure of the timing between application and validation, which is after all just confirmation that all documents are submitted. In the case of QP's application for the east stand that was five days.
  4. .......although by this time last year Cove still hadn't submitted their application, yet opened the season with two new temporary stands.
  5. When it comes to actually pointing at the Gretna style splashing of money on the first team, it rarely goes much beyond Simon Murray, and assumptions about the sums of money involved. I'm not sure how any investment in the progress of of a club should be carried out if it's not in infrastructure and player development strategy (perhaps not making a big mess of stadium builds!). The real implication here is that the league positions should be settled by average home crowd attendance.
  6. We made it quite exciting for a wee while. Death from a thousand cuts since January was what really sunk us, but Dundee deserve it in the end. We've done better than any of us expected in a great league, and we get to play some more!
  7. Yes. And I'm fine with it. He's not a media pundit but manages a team of players. I've seen managers in this league destroy individuals after games, and maybe that works better, but for the time being at least I'm happy that he prioritises a feeling of belief and positivity in a team that badly needs it.
  8. As soon as Fox was booked, I was willing Coyle to do just that. Partly because I could see him collecting at least another yellow and ruling himself out again for Friday, and partly because he hasn't been that great of late. Right across the team though, what appears to be a lack of confidence is resulting in a real sloppiness. If I can for a moment separate the more tedious P&B Morton posters on here from their actual team, I have to agree with Imrie's statements that they can play a bit. Yes they are well skilled in the crafty side of the game, but in between all the heady tennis and stops for fouls they can move the ball about well. And they win games. If the league were to run for another, say five games. Neither us nor Dundee would be winning it. And one of us not even making the playoffs. strangely that gives me a bit of confidence for next week.
  9. Perhaps I'm wrong. On the bright side...
  10. No I think it's me that stands alone in this. I find it hard to believe referees make decisions based on allegiances. Sub-conscious or not. But I accept the standard isn't great, and balancing out of poor decisions does happen.
  11. Championship is great. Gaston been great all season. Wise move from Imrie slaughtering his keeper like that?
  12. Ill will and 'banter' I guess is part and parcel of a football forum. There are a few though who rarely offer any useful insight or humour, but feed off a level of hatefulness that eclipses support for their own club, and exposes a very unhappy mind (you know who you are). It's a shame really as P&B is unrivalled for information and discussion, but it can be a very tedious and depressing place to be.
  13. Yes. There is clearly some other factor at play here. Even taking into account changed plans, switching contractors, supply chain issues, Covid etc., there is no way the programme of works we are seeing should have progressed so slowly. Worse than the delay though is the concept of the Royal Box in the face of a 'new stadium' with a capacity of less than 1,000 at this level.
  14. Thanks PB. I guess I don't need a stream very often. Can be handy for a Tuesday night away in Inverness, when you can't be too confident of the club's administration!
  15. Thanks Homer. I agree that my ppv options direct from clubs will be limited, I guess I'm looking at the Pixellot cameras, but just unsure how to access them.
  16. Could a young person help to outline my options? I'll miss a few games, so looking to watch live streaming of Scottish Championship games from England, US and Scotland. There seems to be a lot of betting website links that I'm reluctant to open. Happy to ppv or whatever if it's better quality and minimises risk. Am I even in the right forum?
  17. This is all too too reasonable, and not at all in the spirit of Pie and Bovril. I suggest you add some hysterical references to Gretna, crowd wanking, and some recycled GIFs, which will restore your standing. Seriously though, some good points here. That's football. It's great.
  18. Very much both. QP looked jittery from the start. First half we competed ok, without creating anything at all. Second half the subs changed the game, not for the first time. Thereafter they were pacy and direct and harried us very effectively. I can't see Dundee not winning the title, but bizarrely we are top of the league still. We can play better than this, and Dundee will need consistency. This.
