  1. Steven Pressley has resigned at Fleetwood Town. Hope they don't recall any loan players to the new manager. Re the new guy. Firstly welcome to the club. Maybe it might be down to international clearance. Coming to the country to train as apprentice may be easier for clearance ????
  2. I wouldn't, at least Vaughan is our player and if progresses he will be a saleable asset.
  3. We really should have been out of sight by half time. Osea missed a sitter but he created the chance himself so you can allow for that. The two best players tonight were substituted at the same time and they seemed to lose their way in the final third.
  4. The same as the home fans and unless all ticket no need to buy tickets in advance. That's a luxury compared to others , take note Morton.
  5. I'm even surprised at a 12.30ko. There is the annual lanarkshire Orange March. This year in Harthill.
  6. Yes we won, but again powder puff in the final third. Playing two wingers and pint sized Vaughan up front with Callaghan behind him was a bit strange for me. The defence looked better but still some to get match sharpness. Trialists didn't have much of the ball to comment. We REALLY REALLY NEED A STRIKER. Someone who can hold the ball up and bring others into the game and get on the end of crosses. Yes the second was a cross but the keeper made an area of that one.
  7. There is a bar under the stand which is open today. Fyi.
  8. Changing tangent.............Going up to Brechin today. Hope to see one of the trialists getting a game, with stewart being out.
  9. Certainly looks the part. Very much like Lewis Vaughan though. We need a lamp post also.
  10. Hibs pie and bovril page states Rovers were keen on Kevin Thomson but for little extra cash it was not with his while. I know he was coaching there and there is more to this than money. If this is an insight to our transfer budget then geezo.
  11. What about Joel Thomas that we let go at the end of the season ? If we are struggling that badly ???
  12. Doesn't matter what it is paid in that Muppet of a Dundee Utd chairman will take about 2 years to pay it. That will be after being taken to trial.
  13. There were several designs and colours we had to vote on.
  14. Don't blame him in the slightest in leaving. If we don't bring in a couple of strikers we are going to be the usual tippy tappy football with no end product. Is Jordan White been signed by anyone yet? Which about Joel Thomas? Why are we being told now we are only giving training facilities to Jordan Moore when it has been written in the national press and as he understood it was as a trial. If this is the case we are turning into a shambles,of a club.
  15. Stranrear was probably not his choice. I'm still thinking Laidlaw.
  16. Wasn't a derogatory statement just curious. Likes of Gretna2008 are at £65 and BSC Glasgow are £7 entry at gate with Cumbernauld only £5 and £2 oap. I would expect the norm for league 2 to be £12. That's a good price season book compared to the likes of Clyde at £175. I hope they can compete in terms of income.
  17. It would be interesting to see the home support of any lowland league club if promoted. The at least doubling of entry fee would surely put some off.
  18. Salt and sauce and "Ken" begins east of castlecary arches. Your clearly wrong also ;-)
  19. I can't wait Gtf day, so the pars fans can p*ss off and update their own championship thread.
  20. I'm still thinking to myself as to why we need another left back , as I for one don't rate McKeown enough for a club any better than ourselves wanting to take him.
  21. Would these players more than likely drift towards west coast team's due to the supposed lower end wages we can offer.
  22. I have read through this post with much interest. I have a suggestion which if has been stated already then I apologise. Leagues such as Slovakia and Czech Republic have a differing league structure to ours. The simple basic thing I can see when I go to watch the occasional lowland league game is why oh why do the lowland and junior league have to kick off at the same time or as in juniors a short time prior to senior football. Am I missing something here is there not a large market of football fans who would watch the local junior or lowland club but chose not to due their senior club commitments as fans The Czech leagues start at different times over the weekend dependent on the league you play in. It allowed myself and other fans to watch several games over the weekend. I noticed a remarkable increase in the crowd at a cumbernauld colts match when there was no senior games on the same weekend day. IT'S BASIC SURELY ????? Can it put this to you all and would be interested in your thoughts. Consider junior/lowland football starting at 12.30. 1 - would you as a home fan go and watch a local junior game before your own match knowing we'll you can get a half time pint rather than spend time in the pub. 2- How many football fans leave on early busses to away matches to spend a fortune getting bevvied up prior to the game. Would you consider again taking in a game as above and . Probably saving money at the same time. Just putting it out there.
