Gonna be pretty difficult to escape the drop now, another last minute sickener to add to our cursed season. Surprised no McIntosh in the team as we had nothing up top in the 1st half although we had a better 2nd half and good to see McKenna coming back. Might see Bird actually win a header or a hold onto the ball before the season ends though, something to look forward too.
A real top quality match this afternoon with Allen v Williams which Allen took 6-3. A 146 break for Allen who was nearly flawless the whole match, if he keeps that form up he is in with a big shout this week.
Not a great game and a terrible goal for Arbroath to concede and likewise Dunfermline for our goal. We were probably a bit fortunate to get a point although we did have chances ourselves. Take a point as defeat would have been disastrous for us i feel.
Do you honestly think that Arbroath supporters thought that season should become our norm!! We all knew that was a freak season and that we would at some point be back down to League one. DC was fantastic for us and we all know and appreciate that but by the end of his time at Arbroath he had lost the plot and the dressing room. He should have quit in the summer and it was really sad the way it ended.
Hope he re-discovers his touch with you boys, who i like btw.
Most have been in games and yes he got some decent players in some of who got injured
The lines of communication to these South Sudan villages must be better than the communication to some of the users on P&B who clearly have no idea
Of course Guardiola is a better manager but he hasn't worked with a part time team with a ridiculous injury list that he cannot just throw millions to fix so I seriously doubt it.
When you have to play your back up goalkeeper at centre forward, Your defence consists of midfielders, your only "fit" defender is playing with a broken toe. I could go on but it would only bore you.
You do realise that we have had an injury crisis with us barely having 11 fit players to field a team since he came in. Pep Guardiola wouldn't have done any better.
Clearly they are trying to generate cash to better the club, but It's pretty simple as far as i'm concerned, give if you want to give, don't give if you don't want to give. Nobody is holding a gun to anyone's head.
Don't really do social media apart from here and nobody here is giving him grief. Sure they aren't Dundee supporters
Anyway let's hope for the best today
We had seven successful seasons under the Campbells without any injury issues, in fact we were the fittest part time team out there. Nobody was suggesting luck wasn't involved in our ridiculously good season. no idea what that has to do with anything tbh. Bad luck happens and we're having a good dose now
