Ross County v Rangers
Frank Quitely replied to Sonam's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Dingwall today was karma for that preposterous statement Rangers issued. -
Dumbarton v Clyde 13/4/24
Frank Quitely replied to O'Kelly Isley III's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
I honestly think some refs would have abandoned that game yesterday. There was a bizarre incident in the first half when Crighton (I think) hoofed the ball straight forward and it slowly arced right across to Lennon at left-back like a prime Glenn Hoddle pass -
I don't have it. But until I do I try to keep a reasonably open mind.

It's no surprise you are getting red dots. Some people are enjoying the witch hunt too much to even consider that they might not have the full picture.
-
Thanks for your reply. It's quite revealing.
-
How exactly do you know that, and who led you to believe it ? You then go on to claim whataboutery and immediately compare the Methil incident with the Hamilton one, when the two are not comparable.

I'd second this. The Rock is a cracking wee club and the Bully Wee fans will be made most welcome. -
You could have hit on something there, but who knows.

A typical Parliament in other words.

....and then bombing spectacularly in the playoffs.

Dumbarton v Bonnyrigg Rose 23/3/24
Frank Quitely replied to Silverton End's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
It's a form of trolling. He knows these players are very popular with the fans and criticism of them is his way of showing that he's the boss. It's happened before, Craig Britain's popularity got right up Chapman's humph to the extent that the wee man left under a bit of a cloud. -

Embarrassment or commercial opportunity ? No contest. -
I'd think they probably are, but having contacted the police I think they should now follow through on that initial statement.
-
I'm wondering if we'll receive an updated club statement now that the police are taking no action about the alleged incident at Methil.
-
Didn't work, so it wasn't just me LOL. However it seems to be true as apparently it was also on other sites, eg MSN News.
-
Nor me strangely.... it's an article by a Rory Cassidy in the Record.

I read this but I wasn't sure if I was looking at a Netflix plot line. -
Spartans vs Dumbarton

Didn't we part our cheeks for ground rental by Rangers B ? -
The club and the police should be basing their outcome on no more and and no less than what actually happened. There should be no attempt to reflect any perceived 'public mood' or to placate keyboard warriors or to link this incident to the recent statement by the Board of Hibs FC, for example.
-
Premature ? I'm surprised it took them so long.
-
Be very careful there. Are you certain the comment was shouted or was it a comment made to people in the immediate company which was picked up by someone within earshot ? I wasn't there and I'm no lawyer but that may be something the police will consider.

Four semi-literate posts in almost ten years on this site tells us just how committed you are to DFC. And where loyalty is concerned, it's absolutely fine except when it becomes blind loyalty - that's dangerous. Face facts pal.

Looks like it's now been binned.
