  1. I don't think the comparison with Goodwin or Jack Ross is a fair one. Jack had a woeful start but the team he inherited was awful, some of those lads wouldn't have got a game at the Racecourse. Goodwin came in and had to try and build a squad in a short space of time. Robinson took over a decent squad in a great run of form. We'd lost once in 11 games (at Ibrox). He's proceded to lost 8 out of 9. His tenure has been an unmitigated disaster. I've not called for him to be sacked but I think Saturday is the crunch. Lose to St Johnstone and his time is up for me.
  2. St Johnstone have taken 8 points from their last 6 games. We've taken 3. I'd bite your hand off for a point right now.
  3. If we lose next week then he'll deserve to be sacked and surely the board will surely be getting tetchy.
  4. Fair enough. And posting that isn't a great look, even if it is just to your pals. I posted some absolute drivel when I was 20 though, so I wouldn't be too hard on him. I think he's a smashing player on his day, unfortunately we've not seen many of his days recently.
  5. He's got his account locked, probably not right to be making that public. For what it's worth he's been rotten recently but he's maybe got a point. Some fans go way over the top.
  6. Robinson has lost 8 out of 9 games. Before he came in we'd lost 1 in 11 games and that was at Ibrox. Admittedly that includes two cup games against lower league opposition.
  7. The lack of urgency in the last two games has been really noticeable. The only way we won't finish 11th is if St Johnstone drop points in all their final 3 games.
  8. You're probably right. Or Roy MacGregor will throw a few quid at him to entice him to Dingwall. I think he'd be a decent addition though, obviously fitness would be a concern but he's an experienced player and a very good defender at this level.
  9. I like Dunne but if Aberdeen are willing to throw decent money for him then let him go. Offer some of it to Andy Considine.
  10. Since the split came in we've seen loads of clubs get there at some point. Falkirk, Dunfermline, ICT, Partick, Dundee, Kilmarnock, Ross County, Livingston, Motherwell, St Johnstone. If all these clubs can do it, why not us? Whilst it's not the be all and end all, it's mildly embarrassing that we're about the only club who's spent time in the top flight since it went to 12 teams, that have never made it into the top half.
  11. Goodwin got rid of Obika because he didn't think he was busy enough up front. He then brought in Curtis Main.
  12. The only solace is that all the teams in the bottom six are rotten.
  13. This is one of the most embarrassing performances I can remember. Zero fight.
  14. It'd probably have been better if he hadn't bothered. It just looks like more mixed messages.
  15. Or you could keep those comments in house and not use it as an excuse for a dreadful run of form.
  16. That's a fair point. I still think it's an odd thing to say to the press though. Also, would he have still not offered a contract if one of these players had played out their skin for the remainder of the season?
  17. Spot on. Under Goodwin this season we at least looked hard to beat (other than a few notable games). I feel I'm repeating myself here but when Goodwin left we had lost 6 league games. Only Celtic and Rangers had lost fewer. Since Robinson has come in we've lost another 6 (out of 7 games). I have some sympathy with Robinson, everything he does will be compared to Goodwin by fans, players, staff. A change in training or atmosphere is enough to unsettle a team. What I can't be doing with are his post match comments that really don't fill me with confidence.
  18. If we finish 11th it'll be because we've been on an absolutely horrible run of form for months. When we beat Dundee Utd we were off the back of a few decent results.
