  1. Been listening to lots of classic Slipknot recently for the gym, perfect for beasting the weights. Looking forward to seeing them at Download, sad to say, but It seems like the death of Paul has added a new lease of life for the band. Must admit though, looking through the back catalogue due to the lack of great metal over the last couple of years still produces some gems, such as
  2. Completed Guacamelee for PS3, excellent, people are criticising the length but about 7 hours is alright for £7.
  3. Your mii's getting bored without you
  4. I remember some Tv program was giving out free Mews in Braehead once. You just connected your GB to it and it transferred in.
  5. Still have a gander every so often when i whip out the GB. Always had red when i was a wee guy and never ever saw blue until one of my friends got it, seeing a Mankey was like the holy grail of gaming for me. Played yellow which was a nice twist. Then it kind of went downhill. Gold, Silver, Platinum, blah blah. Played fire red recently and was quite fun. The guy who came up with Pokemon must be face deep in 20 Asian he-shes right now. Do you mean shinies as in cards?
  6. Twilight - 7/10 The love story is quite unbelievable and tiresome but underneath it all is an interesting vampire story. Haven't read the book so have no other insight or comparison.
  7. Inglorious Basterds - 9/10 Took a shot to take away the sour taste from 'Death Proof' and wasnt disappointed, not at all. Im not one of those people who think Quentin Tarantino is a god among men because he tries something different with his movies, but he shines with this movie. Cast was brilliant, one of the few situations where you wish you would have seen more of each character, maybe apart from the cinema owner, her story becomes tiresome. Also, Christopher Waltz is fantastic in it as Landa. Ending might annoy, even enrage people, but its entertaining.
  8. Atonement - 8/10 Wasnt really fancying it going into the film but really enjoyed it. The end may have spoiled or made the movie fro some people but i enjoyed it. Seems to be the same with all of McEwans popular novels. The Dunkirk one shot was extremely impressive, had to remind myself after a minute that it was still going.
  9. Oh right, i totally forgot we were referring to last years numbers, forgive me, my long term memory is terrible. I think this is the last time im gonna reply now, should have taken this route from the beginning TBH, but you have fun trolling while im forcing myself to play Prototype.
  10. 1) I dont recall the PS3 losing 3.3 billion anything. 2) If your gong company wide here, how much did the hallowed Microsoft lose?
  11. Theres no need to spam this thread with this talk. Plus those points are uneducated in the subject. The PS3 is a far superior piece of equipment, but going into the arguments of PSN vs Live, Live could be seen are superior, but if you want a browser, then its PSN. Then you talk about Sony losing money, Playstation isnt Sony, you also forget that Sony is working right now a a cost effective PS Slim which will appear soon so they can start dropping prices for the GOW, Uncharted, the motion control, to start selling more units, also the last time i checked, there was about X million more xboxs than ps3s in the world due to the fact that Microsoft are a major US players, but the PS3 has bigger installs in europe and asia. But, i dont want to argue about this, just bringing up some points.
  12. The Mist - 8/10 Not seen the original, or read the book. Top notch movie none the less. So many themes, such as religion and devolution of man, mixed with an (unbelievable) science fiction twinge. Respect for the ending. No kop outs.
