Thinking of making the short journey East on the A75 for the 2nd leg to cheer on the Black and Golds. I had a look online at buying tickets for me and two under 16’s. There’s the option to buy a combined adult and U16 ticket but no option to buy extra U16’s!! Don’t think they can be classed as concessions as there is an option to buy a combined concession and U16 ticket! Would any Annan fans like to help this confused Doonhamer?

This club is an absolute f*cking joke. Look up the phrase “inner circle” and that describes perfectly the BOD and all those attached to it. These are dark times for the club as we stumble from disastrous PR exercise to the next. I like many others are totally disillusioned with it all and I’ve voted with my feet.

With Davy being a full time police officer I doubt he could spare the time needed to turn that rabble of a squad around!!

Change what exactly! Remember this is the person who can see nothing wrong with the decaying state of Palmerston!!! The place is crumbling around us in more ways than one and the inner circle at the club just blindly carry on believing their lame attempts of trying to convince the dwindling fan base that there is nothing wrong. The tanner fund should be used to buy them a sand pit outside the Arena so they can stick their heads in the sand for all to see. Sad, sad times around the club and I for one won’t be handing my hard earned money over until that inept clown is relieved of his duties.

Signing for Queens is probably seen as the short straw these days so players will be holding off to see if a more attractive move is on the cards before opting to join us!!

If it was anything like gaining entry to the games limited to 500 home fans it’ll be a breeze getting in. I couldn’t believe how lax the ground security were for those matches. A simple flash of the email match ticket and I was waived through the cordon outside the turnstile. I remember thinking at the time how easy it would have been to forward the email onto others and there was no way of the club monitoring who actually entered the ground legitimately!!

I heard from people close to him he would have jumped at the chance to play for his local club again.

Great point for Queens today at a difficult venue. Noticed Gavin Reilly bagged himself a double today. He would have done a job at Palmerston but the powers at be thought differently! Head and shoulders above any striker we have on our books just now.

A long shot but if Leigh Griffiths was to become available would Queens fans be happy to see him sign for us? Might be a good use for the tanner fund to help get a proven goal scorer!

Who’s said it’s getting replaced?! The last BoD announcement stated the pitch passed it’s test with flying colours and there was no mention of it being replaced at the end of this season.

My predictions are - We lose the match. We fail to score. We have no shots on target. We concede a penalty. The buses are a disgrace. SD will be his usual post match self-righteous self.

I would save your breath Palmy Pie as its a futile experience trying to reason with anyone at the club. It’s as if Billy has given his entourage the Total Recall treatment!! How do we know that the Tanner Fund hasn’t all ready been offered to the club to strengthen the squad and the club have refused to use it?!!

I decided to go along to today’s game to clear away the Christmas/Hogmanay cobwebs and took up my usual spot on the Portland Road terrace. Now my eyesight isn’t the greatest these days but what foul exactly did the Queens player commit to result in a penalty kick? Whatever it was it must have been pretty blatant as the referee, I use the term loosely, pointed at the spot straight away without even giving himself a second or two’s thinking time. Queens players yet again caught napping this time at the penalty kick where not one player showed any savvy to follow up kicker and anticipate a rebound! it also looked like Gibson was shown a straight red after walking away from this booking. There was an incident in a match a few years ago between Clyde and Hamilton where an Accies player “died” on the pitch following a clash with Imrie. Luckily medics managed to bring him back to life. There was a major fallout after the game between the management teams and players which didn’t paint Imrie in a good light. Coupled with his gallus attitude he was a player opposition fans loved to hate.

My dislike of Morton has only got greater after the appointment of that thug.
