  1. I cant help but view this game as a must win rather than a must-not-lose, given our remaining home games being against the top two, and 2 away games being direct rivals for the play offs, 1 against a team we have a horrendous record against in recent years and 1 against an ICT team that may have it all to play for to avoid the playoff spot on the final day, Airdrie on firs glace have a tougher looking final 6, but i feel the likes of Patrick will have downed tools by the time they face them if they have guaranteed a play-off place by that point. so IMO we need to be picking up max points from this. I don't think it would be a terrible idea to Drop Muirhead for this one (nothing against the lad on the whole) get a Combination of Bearne and Garrity/McGrattan/Quitongo (prefered to rile the home fans) to inject some pace in the wide channels behind Oakley. We've lacked alot of positive attacking play since George got injured and been far too static in the front line forcing us back far too often and resorting to hit and hope long balls.
  2. From a Morton perspective you have to realize that in the 8 games we have faced each other over the last 2 seasons, Ferrie has had what would be marked as poor games in 7 of them, barring the most recent game at Hampden where he did in fact save you from an absolute hiding. although the season isn't over, Only Arbroath and Ayr have a worse defensive record than yourselves, and last season only Cove and Hamilton conceded more goals. A lot can be said for the line in front of the GK but ultimately big questions get asked of the man between the sticks.
  3. We are playing devoid of all confidence, purpose or cohesion. same as the last few games, looking ahead its hard to see where our next win will come playing like this.
  4. Camera work from our stream is pretty poor, very eratic and struggling to keep up with play at times
  5. Aye he's off, Luckily it all worked out in the end, and previous misjudgments from the officials were atoned for.
  6. It’s been 15 minutes and it’s more clear than ever that Easedale isn’t a football player.
  7. I'll have to disagree re-Dunfermline's chances in a a play-off with either Airdrie or Cove, Montrose or Queens Park they would get past sure, But for the current top two I think they'd struggle
  8. When a Keeper gets his name thrown about for POTS I'm normally one of the first to criticise it, How McAdams got it for us is still an absolute mystery, but this time its hard to disagree with it, Hamilton has been the most consistent keeper we've had in a long time and should be the next player we offer a contract extension to.
  9. I Might be completely wrong and one of my fellow fans can feel free to correct me, but, night time home games for us always seem to be decent, and the atmosphere certainyl seems to get cranked up a notch. but with the TV cameras there thats likley to lul it a little unfortunatley. The recent improvement in form and better chemistry between players and fans should give us some reason to be optimistic. Our record for games played on the 28/1 is W8-D5-L7 (none of those V Raith) Heart says a 1-0 Win for Morton. Head somehow saying 1-0 Raith

  12. Yes I did exclude JJs awful approach to gameS, which I should have elduded to. We were hardly the most attacking minded team in the league, granted Tidser is probably one of the few in the league that can create something out of nothing at times, he was hardly performing at a level since the snakes days in charge where he was arguably at his best for us the season (as much as I hate to admit it) Millar was a recycler if possession this season and maybe someone can provide stats on his assists this season but I’m struggling to think of any direct assists he made this year. My optimism does lie mostly with Hopkin and what he gets out the players, even though it was only Rory McKeown, he showed a wanting to play for Hoppy, something I struggle to say that players displayed for JJ. I’m happy Bobs staying, even if it is as a squad player, he’s at an age now where he has experience and can maybe help a younger striker through a game
  13. Happy enough with that, needs creativity behind him in midfield to be effective, top scorer for us last two seasons IIRC, but should be looking for an upgrade on him, if not hope Hopkin gets his work rate up.
  14. Not sure how I’ve missed that [emoji23] lack of experience should I say
  15. Ray McKinnon, made us look partially competent (out-with cups) but ultimately a snakey b*****d that deserves no respect from Morton fans 1/10 JJ while at Morton, while seemed like the up-and-coming, young manager that a few fans were keen to see, just never made an impression, displayed a huge lack of inexperience even with Houston behind him and was, for the most part, a statue on the touch line for a majority of his time here, players having to ask what they are suppose to be doing was a big red flag. His recruitment ability was questionable to say the least, with only one acquisition being a stand out in Greg Kiltie, McRorie did well but had a few shaky games which is understandable for a young keeper, Dallas, Dykes no where near ready for this level and O’Connell hardly got a sniff. Would be hesitant to credit him with our upward turn in form at the end of season. 2/10.
