Posted a year ago of how I was terrifies of leaving uni as I had no idea what i was going to do. I went on Sertraline 50mg in July and have been on them since. I feel they have helped a bit, My social anxiety is not nearly as prevalent. The improvement is really subtle and I think I could only really appreciate it if i went off them. In October I moved to Hanoi to teach English. it hasnt been easy and there have been very lonley and anxious moments where my depression was at its worst but I have found a job where i dont have to work much and can live a comfortable life. I have never been a fan of work and always avoided it but arsing around with kids for a living can be fun. I still don't have much direction in my life but i have found contentment and i can say for the first time in a few years that I am happy. I know I will still have to battle with depression but i made a bold choice and I am really proud of myself for going through with it so right now I am finally able to enjoy life. For anyone who is leaving uni and does not know what to do I would highly recommend it, it provides time for growth.

After months of Tinder work I went on my fourth Tinder date two weeks ago. The first was fine but nothing came of it. The second turned out to be a massive heffer. My social anxiety is quite bad, i chew my nails because I would scratch my arms to f**k if i had them. I'm usually okay with going out so i cant comprehend how bad it must be for you. My GP recommended breathing exercises and meditation, he had SA and said the breathing changed his life. Me thinks the problem with SA is over analysis of situations. I have been on Sertraline for 4 weeks now and today i finally felt different. The SA isnt as bad and there is some serotonin kicking about in my head. I had the most miserable day today but have managed to feel okay. Anti depressents work differently on everyone so maybe just try others until you find the right one I

Been fucking awful recently, its not that im sad, sadness is a lovely horrible emotion but im just dead inside, nothing is going on in my brain except thoughts of wasted my youth and stuff. Social anxiety has been extreme recently, making me avoid contact with everyone. Started 50mg of Sertraline yesterday and finding it very rough so far but that's to be expected. Ive noticed that the results vary from person to person so i'm just trying to be optimistic.

I do hold an element if disdain towards Brewdog, their draft is ridiculously overpriced. Punk IPA is a great pint but by comeparing that to Williams Joker the difference of price is silly. Williams produce far more diverse ales, with Hipsay being my favourite. Brewdog (Argylle street) is a lovely pub but for me I cant get past the façade of marketing that it holds when inn deep is next to the river with one of the best beer gardens in Glasgow selling primary Williams draft. Dont get me wrong, Punk IPA is outstanding i just don't like the impact that Brewdog has had on the local ales culture.
