  1. Clyde and Dunfermline both managed to drop down tiers in 1974-75 and 1975-76, almost 10 years before St. Johnstone. Depends on your definition of “relegated” and whether league reconstruction counts.
  2. For anyone who thinks psychics are “harmless”, look into the Amanda Berry story https://abcnews.go.com/US/amanda-berrys-mom-told-pyschic-sylvia-browne-berry/story?id=19126853
  3. @FrankieTheHammer Your cover is blown! Proceed to Safe House Gamma for further instructions.
  4. I remember hearing on a podcast that when the police release statements from psychics, it’s either because a) The psychic is one of the suspects or, more usually, b) There is no psychic, but they need to protect the identity of their actual source. Jimmy the Snitch telling them that Mad Dog Malone has thrown the body in the canal is released as a psychic “seeing” a large man with a scar on his cheek driving a dark saloon car near water.
  5. Starts off badly, then gets worse at the chorus (1:29)
  6. Letterle - I got it in 7! Letterle 7/26 https://edjefferson.com/letterle/
  7. There’s a street in China where a truck spilled its load of catfish. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/it39s-raining-fish/
  8. Curses, my plans when I joined this forum 10 years ago and posted over 1,300 times (possibly over 1,500 given the post culls) including participating in Deadpool and Last Man Standing competitions have been rumbled. I’ll just have to wait another 10 years and start a “Who won Eurovision the year you were born” thread.
  9. You're hosting a dinner party and have to invite 5 celebrity guests but, so that there’s no gaps in life experiences ruining the conversation, they all have to born in the same year as you. I’ll go first with my birth year, 1966. James Richardson (29-05-1966) Saturday mornings in the 1990s were epitomised by the Golazzo theme, the rustling of the Corriere Dello Sport and a sip from an espresso cup on an Italian piazza. His punning is at times glorious and I continue to enjoy his football podcasts. Eric Cantona (24-05-1966) I like an arrogant, talented footballer who thinks they are above everyone else, whether it be Cantona, Zlatan or Hristo Stoichkov (who could also have made this list). Eric gets the invite for his goal “celebration” after that chip v Sunderland in 1996 and his challenge on that arsehole Crystal Palace fan in 1995. John Cusack (28-06-1966) My favourite actor and lead role in my favourite film, Grosse Pointe Blank. A master of niche films, but never seems to shine in mainstream movies. Also has some interesting political views. Cindy Crawford (20-02-1966) The reason I spent most of my 20s determined that I was going to find and marry a brown-eyed brunette and the more that they looked like her, the better. I’d still leave Mrs. Nosejob, a blue-eyed redhead, if Cindy would have me. This dinner party is my best and probably last chance. Richard Wiseman (17-09-1966) Skeptical thinker and author of some brilliant books such as Quirkology and 59 seconds that make psychology far more accessible and interesting. He’s also a magician, so that could be a useful diversion if things start going wrong.

  12. Wordle 210 4/6 A week of solid 4s has had a detrimental effect on my mean, median and mode.
