  1. https://www.scotsman.com/news/eu-negotiator-simple-fact-independent-scotland-could-join-eu-1-4757519 I've pulled up recent comments that reflect our current situation but the same was said in 2014. Some people just choose to ignore it.
  2. Yes as I said May’s deal getting through, outside of a general election, is the SNP’s favoured scenario at this stage of proceedings. Unless you get into the realms of a new deal being agreed, which the EU has ruled out. An indy ref gets much further away in the event of a no deal.
  3. The other thing with No Deal is that the Scot Gov would have to put all its efforts into dealing with whatever chaos comes their way and indy would be put on the back burner. May's deal getting through, is at this stage, the best course for Indy. If only the evil wummin wasn't so damn useless...
  4. The mandate from the manifesto is about being "dragged out of the EU against our will". If that doesn't happen then that particular mandate doesn't exist. As alluded to above an election of some description would be needed to drive the issue forward. Personally i think the chances of A50 being revoked to be close to zero but you never know. An extension to A50 is an interesting one as i really don't know what the SNP do in that scenario re. independence, there is a political cabinet meeting this week to discuss exactly that. They are bricking it from a no deal exit and believe it really harms the case for Indy with all the issues that will throw up for trade with ruk and borders etc. The SNP's ideal scenario is that the ruk remains in the SM and CU, which they believe eases any transition post indy and kills many of the scare stories dead during any campaign.
  5. Been a while since l’ve played it so cant remember the exact point you find it (it is possible to miss) but it is quite far in the game I think. You get it during the time you cut about on a horse I think, so if you aren’t at that part, then you’re all good.
  6. The flamethrower is an absolute beast. Found the game became a lot easier once you had it and you could fry everyone.
  7. It's possible if not probable that none of our first choice front 3 will be here next season. Main i'm not too bothered about either way but the two wingers would/will be a loss. Adequately replacing them and getting big Gorrin signed up will be the difference between a scrap and a semi enjoyable season next year I think.
  8. Missed this and can’t find much anywhere. What’s up with him?
  9. My first time watching her, she seemed to have zero control which actually made it a good laugh.
  10. I’ve kind of enjoyed this in a point and laugh sort of way. Fiona Bruce is pretty gubbins though isn’t she?
  11. Dunno but I’m starting to think JHB is a wid, sorry not sorry.
  12. Have tuned in against my better judgement, good first go by Blackford there.
  13. Really? I was still shiteing it come the 2nd leg personally, probably despite the reality of situation. I don't think i relaxed at all until that sweet sweet moment of Bell punching it in his own net.
  14. The other point is even if she does somehow get her meaningful vote round 3 through next week, members of her own cabinet turned on her tonight. The rule of ministers always voting with the gov is gone and that’s a sign of a government that has fallen apart. There could be a general election even if she does get it through next week.
  15. I’m sure Steve Baker said in Parliament that he and others wouldn’t be supporting her deal next week, perhaps I misheard.
  16. She's apparently not speaking this afternoon now as it's too sore
  17. Ian Blackford will be on tomorrow, not sure that's enough to make me watch, even though I think he has been reasonably decent recently.
  18. Rumours going around that May has lost her voice and may not be able to lead in debates today
  19. No deal will slow down any SNP call for an IndyRef unfortunately. We really really don't want a no deal.
  20. I'm not ashamed to say that the biggest travesty throughout this whole thing is that I am now down 50 bucks. You are for it May you useless tadger.
  21. That's a decent point actually. Completely agree with what she said there but it's strange that she doesn't use the same logic when considering the hardship that austerity has brought onto people.
  22. LK is reporting that they are, look it up. The knock on effect to the ERG is what really matters. ETA. when i say 'really matters' she lost the last vote by 2/3rds so really matters in that little xenophobic, backwards corner of parliament. TL;DR... she ain't getting her deal through, barring some miracle.
